As you might imagine, a significant remodel and addition to a 60-year old home is likely to bring with it surprises and our remodel was no exception. The basement work included new framing/drywall, windows (including a large egress window), plumbing and electrical to support a main living space, new bathroom and new laundry room. We also updated our old forced-air HVAC and water heather to new mini-splits and a tankless water heater.
