"This is the second time we've used this company to fix things around our home that are too large and complicated for us to do ourselves but too small for huge contractors to take on. <br /> <br /> We've loved the finished work in both cases. We very much appreciate the fact that the House-to-Home Solutions workmen are able to make MacGyver-ish fixes for a home that was built in the 1930s. And we are always very happy that they never quit on a project until they've figured out something that's functional, and long-lasting, and good looking. <br /> <br /> Of course, working out those fixes takes time. And it's not cheap. But if you're willing to invest the time and money, you'll end up with a fix that's done well. <br /> <br /> Our last contract involved replacing an ancient, decaying garage window, and installing new railings for a porch and two outdoor sets of stairs. <br /> <br /> For the window, the House-to-Home crew put in framing that Daniel, the company's owner, didn't like. He had them rip it out and start over. And then, only when they had the new frame's measurements, did they order the new window. So it took some time. But the window is now perfect. <br /> <br /> The railings were even more complicated because the slope of the steps was too steep for the factory configuration of the railing parts. The House-to-Home folks had to cut into the brick in a couple of places to make it all work. Also, on two different occasions, parts were damaged when they arrived. But Daniel won't install something that's not right, so he sent the parts back. Those setbacks meant a series of delays. BUT when House-to-Home finished the work, it was perfectly done. We didn't have to call them back to tweak anything right away. And we have no complaints at all one year later?so the work is durable. <br /> <br /> We know that we'll have to have other fixes done to our home. Things break, especially in an older building. "The quality of work is excellent.  Unfortunately, their boss directed his crew to ignore the obvious tilt of this old house, and we had to insist that the top of the closet doors be parallel to the ceiling!  He also got surly when my husband and I insisted that we both see the end result before paying him.  I hope this guy reverts to the personality we saw a couple of years ago and leaves the current one behind. <br />"

"I wish I had found Reliant Assembly first!!  When I called Reliant Assembly, Kenny was very polite, professional and knowledgable about my basketball goal and the installation process. After agreeing upon the date, he kept us informed about the timing and process for my installation.  During phase 1 (2 part process), he showed up and did what was necessary for phase 1.  Because of the weather/scheduling, phase 2 was looking to fall on a holiday weekend (Memorial Day).  Kenny knew and understood I had 2 little boys who were chomping at the bit to have their basketball goal installed, so instead of scheduling phase 2 for after the holiday (potentially 3 additional days), he came on on Sunday of the Memorial Day weekend to complete the job.  The result is a phenomenal basketball goal and 2 ecstatic little boys (and parents)!  Thank you Kenny (Reliant Assembly) for making this installation process flow so smoothly.   <br /> One last thing, as Kenny was leaving, I inquired about a mechanical issue I was having with my garage door opener and without hesitation not only did he take a look at it...he fixed it saving me a large deductible!  I would 1000 %  recommend Reliant Assembly and will definintely use them again for any future installation/assembly needs. <br />"

"This is the second job Duane has done for us this year.  He and his crew did such a great job, we didn't look any further for our laundry room update.  The crew arrived on time every day and left the work area neat and tidy.  The rough out plumbing for the toilet was located behind the furnace which made this a tight fit.  Duane built two walls and added a bi-fold door to enclose the toilet.  Originally the plan called for a swing out door.  The only hiccup came when I questioned the size of the "loo".  Duane said he had measured it so it would fit, but he'd revise the plan and use a bi-fold door, thus providing a bit more space.  He redid the walls without question.  He did exactly what we asked.  It was great working with him."
