"They were okay. The guys who actually climbed the trees, they knew what they were doing. The boss was there, he didn't really get it as well as the people who actually did the work so it was much better when the boss left. I think they did a good job. I would use them again but it's just that there are so many other people competing to do this, it's just like you have to turn people away all the time."

"Called BOG with c/o “out of control” ants in my house despite despite my use of several different insecticides. They were extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful. They listened to my concerns and explained in detail their program. They scheduled my initial treatment within 48 hours of my call. The technician showed up as scheduled, did a thorough inspection of my house both inside and outside. He explained how he was going to treat my home. I received an email later the same day reviewing what he had found and the treatment. Extremely pleased and have not seen another ant"

"It looks awesome!! I always use this company for 4 hours of work in the front and back yard. However, we kept getting bogus prices for landscaping and realized they perform this kind of work on a regular. I am definently keeping them on retainer. It's been 4 years running, so why not keep it going."

"They were amazing.  Fast, efficient, and careful. We have, unfortunately, seen a lot of trees taken down in our neighborhood.  We have not seen anybody do it as well as the group from Family Tree Experts.

"Needed a walkway extended from the side of our home through the backyard. Emerald provided a competent, professional team that not only built a beautiful walkway, but also buried downspout pipes to prevent excessive runoff. From start to finish, they provided a beautiful walkway allowing us to finish off our yard work. In addition, Margie, from the office staff, was a pleasure to work with. She was professional, personable, and reliable providing information, estimates, and updates from the initial contact through completion of the project."

"The quality of the completed work is excellent.   Mario is easy to deal with, knowledgeable, and flexible.  He started the work on the date promised and kept a close eye on it as it proceeded.  I appreciated his willingness to make some changes and add tasks as we went along. The only difficulty was some delays in completing the work--due only in part to rain. Since I don't have experience with other landscaping projects and I didn't get other bids, I can't say much about the price, but it seemed quite reasonable given the time and materials involved."

"Andrew (owner) of Classic Drainage promptly responded to my online request for an estimate for what I called a French drain but later came to know it as a channel drain. Andrew asked me to send him some pictures of the area I wanted serviced. I took out my phone and snapped a few pictures sending them to Andrew. He then sent me an estimate where he also stated he needed to send someone out to take measurements to give me a more precise cost estimate.  His field rep calle dme within an hour and ararnged a tiem which was very convienant for me - the next day (a Saturday) at 10 am.  Andrew;s field rep was even early, took the measurements, provide more literature on what would be done. Very professional and knowledgeable.  What answers he did not have, was told the information would be provided as soon as possible. It was.
On the day the work was to be done, Classic Drainage arrived on time and started immediately. Andrew even explained exactly what would be done, how it would be done and how long it would take.  I was so impressed with the Classic Drainage work team. No breaks, constantly working. Completed the work, under my curious eyes, cleaned the site and it looked great. Nothing was damaged, not even our plants when they installed my new drain pipes.
I would definitely use and recommend Classic Drainage again.

FAQs for trees & shrubs treat, protect and maintain projects in Knoxville, MD

A tree doctor or tree surgeon is another term for an arborist. The term is more common in places like the United Kingdom. They are professionals trained to plant, care for, maintain, diagnose, and remove trees of all kinds. Tree doctors have specialized knowledge to ensure the health and safety of trees.

Arborists are tree care specialists who plan, maintain, and enhance the health of trees with expert precision. They prune, diagnose diseases, treat pest infestations, remove hazardous limbs, and manage debris cleanup while developing comprehensive landscaping plans. They also handle tree planting and work with landscape professionals to ensure long-term tree vitality and safety.

Consulting arborists are tree experts who can advise homeowners and business owners on the right trees to plant, how to care for existing trees, and what to do about trees that appear to be sick or pose a safety threat. A consulting arborist may work with local landscape architects, investment property owners, city governments, developers, and other arborists.

An arborist may be able to save a dying tree. If you notice that your tree suddenly appears to be sick or is exhibiting unusual behavior, contact an arborist immediately. They will thoroughly inspect the tree to determine what might be wrong with it—and will let you know if it’s possible to save the tree and how to do it.

Verifying an arborist’s credentials is crucial for reliable tree care. Arborists must be licensed by their state and hold certifications from reputable organizations such as the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). Request proof of licensing and certification, and review local recommendations to ensure you are hiring a professional who meets high industry standards and adheres to strict safety protocols.
