We hired Walter Electric a couple years ago to do a major upgrade on the home electrical/lighting, which turned out great, and so it was very good to be able to get them again. I love the function of the room and thrilled that they did such a great job. They really stand behind their work too. "When I ask for an estimate (or take the time to create one for client's in my own business) I actually expect the estimate to mention potential issues that might arise and increase the cost of the project, and I certainly want to make sure I understand the scope of the work. If my estimate is a little bit below the final cost few people have problems. On the other hand if I just don't take the time consider some of the potential issues and think about solutions but just dash off a quote, then I believe I need to stay within the numbers. After all estimates are an important part of the work - they take some time to do well even if you don't get the job. That is part of the $150 per hour some electricians charge. I liked both the electrician and his scheduler and appreciated how quickly they responded to my request for a quote and the portion of the work that was done seems to be working fine. Unfortunately the electrician just didn't really take the time to investigate the full scope of the job so his estimate wasn't even half of what was charged to do just the portion of the job they were able to complete. What they billed us $1100 for was quoted by another electrician at $400. I believe this company may well be a great choice for basic wiring in your home but I think he was not sufficiently familiar with the sort of work we needed done in our warehouse. He would have done us both a favor by admitting this in the beginning rather than when he handed me the bill."

"EXCELLENT. Roque and Michael (bus partner) are both extremely efficient, professional, articulate, present and ready and available to do whatever job you need. Roque scheduled as early as possible to ensure he had plenty of time to do the job well. Michael was the one that did the work I needed..found the issue immediately..replaced BUT they also took the time to diagnose the rest of my lines so if they do ever come back they have history on my electrical lines so they dont waste my time trying to re create the wheel of diagnosing and can get to deeper issues that could arise. Not that they will just saying the lines are behind walls so the simple fix was made for my issue but there is always a chance it could be behind the walls..so he prepared himsefl should I need them to come back to get to business. Very impressed. Easy to pay..they send you an electronic bill, pay by credit card. Definitely recommend. Before MJ I called numerous other electricans (found on yelp or google)..MJ was only one that didnt fill me with excuses, deflections and down right "creepy" where I would not hire the others due to didnt trust them. MJ was extremely professional and saved his name/number to be my electrican of choice for any futher needs on my home."
