Sean Hunt and his partner came the same day I called, on a Friday afternoon. They performed the hydro jet service and cleared a very bad drain. They were wonderful to work with, cleaned after they were done, and were covid compliant. They were very professional, and I love that I received emails confirming the appointment, including the name and picture of the technician. Definitely would use them again."

"Finally, a plumbing company that is 100% honest, very responsive and charges a very fair price! My main line was totally clogged with roots. Dirty water was backing up in my tub and my toilet would not flush. I hired a different contractor that came out, charged a hefty fee only to penetrate a small hole in the clog (to drain the water) and run a camera through the line. I was told that they would have to use a high pressure water jet to clear the line and that would not be available to do the work until 4 days later. They quoted me an outrageous price! I then called JD Plumbing and got to talk to the owner (James himself) and Danny S., a plumber, to get a second opinion. They told me that the water jet is not necessary to clear the line and in fact there was significant risk that my bathroom could be flooded by high velocity water backing up and overflowing my toilet. Danny came out sharply at 8:00 AM the next day and cleared the line in about an hour. I ended up paying less than one third of total cost had I followed through with the first company that came out. I was very impressed that the owner would take the time to talk with me and be so truthful. Danny was awesome! A very professional, hard working and supper friendly guy. A stressful experience with a very good ending thanks to JD Plumbing."

Mike quoted me  that it  would cost  $225 - $250 to replace my main water shut off valve alone, but he needed to come back the next day with parts.   Upon my request,   he  gave me another estimate for   $325 - $350 to replace 8 feet (2 ? 2.5?) sewer pipe in the crawl space.  Mike told me  the  sewer pipe was not leaking  and I  can replace it now or 6 months from now. However, he offered  to do both jobs tomorrow for $550, and we agreed it.

Later, I called their office manager, Kelly, and expressed  that I only need Mike to replace the Shut Off valve because I have a great deal of concern for Mike?s health  to perform a  1 ? 2 hours job in a 2 ft high crawl space.   Mike was out of his breath just going down there  few minutes for an estimate.

Two day later, Mike showed up on time and he was polite as usual.   He cut out my old gate valve, soldering up  two side of a new ¾? coupling  and  both side of  a new  valve.  The job was done.  I offered to write him a check, but he said the their office  will bill me.  So far so good!

 A week later, I received a bill from Albano for $350  to replace the shut off valve.  I was quoted for $225 - $250  and billed for $350.   I called Albano and try to get a explanation from the owner before escalating this issue, however he is currently  out of the town.  I have used Albano service many times before, and I think  this is an isolate incident.  I believe they should charge me the price they quoted, and $350 is  too much  for  a 45 mins job to replace a shut off valve.  Don?t  you agree?"

"They were very fast and had top of the line equipment but I feel like they overcharged me. They even did some upgrades on the sewer main. They were fast , efficient and used best equipment for the job. They put a big improvement by adding sewer line access intake pipes (2) so that you can now clear out sewer Clogs from the back yard intake access pipes without running a snake from inside the bathroom. They did a hydro jet clear out which was expensive but did eliminate the roots which were entangled in the main sewer drain line. That said they did charge very expensive for the job as it was financed thru Syncrony Bank and they did charge it to the max. I should have gotten a senior discount but did not ask as it was emergency rush job which had to be done fast. I Tried to have advanced mechancial do the job first as they are my preferred plumbers and are very reasonable but they declined to do job because they did not want to go up on roof. Then I called clearall."
