"We hired KP Contracting for an elevated pergola and pavers in my grandfather?s backyard. Contract signed Jan 2025, downpayment paid Feb. Parts weren?t ordered until mid-March and arrived in May. They laid pavers but disappeared all June, ignoring calls and texts. Returned briefly in July but didn?t finish the floating deck. The backyard was left torn up with grass destroyed from storing inventory for weeks. They lacked skill to build the pergola properly, missed parts, and never inventoried materials. Wiring was poorly done with exposed wires needing multiple fixes. The motorized pergola remote was missing, then replaced with the wrong model and never calibrated. No progress updates or functional tests. Pavers loosened weeks after sealing. Supposed 3-week project dragged on 12+ weeks, still unfinished. Overpriced for subpar work. No apologies or compensation. "Project Management Issues & Pending Renovation Work. I 100% agree with one of the previous reviews and, unfortunately, am experiencing the same issues that have caused unnecessary delays and frustration. While the quality of work itself is good, the project management leaves much to be desired. My bathroom renovation started on December 1st, 2025, with a promised completion time of two weeks. It has now been almost a month, and the project is still not finished. I would admit that I am responsible for one week delay in replacing a bathtub. Throughout this process, I have received little to no communication ? no daily updates and not even consistent weekly updates ? regarding the timeline or the scope of work being completed. This lack of communication from the project manager, Orkhan, has caused unnecessary delays and frustration. Coordinating with both the crew and management has been extremely difficult, and the project manager?s attitude has at times been rude and unprofessional. "

"I am having a truly unpleasant experience with 7th State Builders. I paid 14,450.00$ deposit in good faith. They were contracted to rebuild my deck, place a roof structure and screen on the deck. I trusted that they would complete the work. Instead, they took my money and one year later had not even started on the project. Not only did they fail to perform the agreed-upon services for the deck, but I was forced to hire an attorney to try and recover my deposit. Which I haven?t yet (over one year). Thus, creating unnecessary expenses to an already frustrating situation. I would strongly advise against using this company. "From first contact to install, the professionals at Econize were responsive and professional. Meg designed our closet and went above and beyond. I was dealing with a family emergency, so she took care of the research that I had planned to do regarding hampers that would fit in the space without my asking. One afternoon there was an email from Meg with a variety of options that would fit. Kevin at Econize stayed in contact to let me know the status of install timing. Upon install, they are prompt, courteous and quick. In half a day, I had a beautiful new closet. They cleaned up so well after that there was no other evidence (besides the new closet) that they had been there. Don’t hesitate to use Econize… you will be happy! "Do not buy these metal boxes as they require much specialized maintenance. They use caulk to hold these things together which breaks down quickly. I have one in a house we recently bought and it's a nightmare, thus I have been dealing with these clowns since Nov. 2018. If they do come out to repair, they bring their caulk guns and grossly overcharge knowing it's very temporary. Then they sit back and wait for the next call, while a great business model for them, it's horrible for the customer. I spoke with their "regional manager" and he is pretty much the typical patronizing clown you would expect from a company like this, a flurry of canned excuses, shrugs and chuckles which all lead back to more grossly overpriced maintenance. After spending $560 on a caulk session I found this (see photo below), they offered to have one of the clowns come out on a unicycle and give me a price on redoing the whole structure. Do yourself a favor, DO NOT BUY!!! P.S. Free Patio Enclosure, you tear down and haul."
