"Thirty minutes before the repair person arrived, I discovered the leak was actually coming from a drain pipe the appliance was using and NOT the appliance itself. I told the person when he arrived and he said he'd verify leak location before leaving. After that, I offered to write him the check for the service call and he actually waived the charge!!
