"United Freight of America did an absolutely fantastic job! I have never needed a service like this before, but I went to Angie's list found the highest rated service and United Freight came through perfectly! Very responsive and professional staff! The driver who delivered the car was courteous and professional too! Excellent job!"

"I would describe Lonnie as skilled and trustworthy. From the start he gave us an accurate timeline and was straightforward with when he would be able to start the project which was a few months out. He kept us informed of progress and returned calls/texts the same day. The final cost of the project was only slightly above the quoted price. The difference being the need to install the sewage pump versus extending the sewage line. As with any old home, there are likely to be issues meeting the current building codes. Lonnie always addressed these issues immediately with the building inspector to find an acceptable solution rather than moving forward and hoping the inspector wouldn't catch it or guessing at a solution that would be acceptable to the inspector. Lonnie was also willing to work with us so we were able to do some of the work to lower costs: trim work, painting, and installing ship-lap. We will certainly be working with Raven Builders for any other projects."

"After the initial sticker shop of a dream garage I had to start making compromises. Batzel Builders was the only contractor that was responding in a reasonable time. Then when I was ready to start I learned that I had to apply for a variance that took 2 months and we missed a start time until spring, but even got delayed. All the delay was due to me and not the contractor. While I waited out winter the contractor called periodically just to stay in touch and helped fine-tune the details of some of the work. I changed my mind countless times but the contractor stayed the course and even made suggestions for many of the ideas I had. He was great to work with.
Most contractors want to know all the details when bidding and insist on sticking to it. I had one contractor drop off because he didn't like all the changing.
If you want near perfection, the ability to make changes, responsible work and a fun person to work with you can't go wrong with Dustin Batzel of Batzel Builders.
Yes, I may have put this garage over budget but I also have closest thing to my original dream garage. I couldn't be happier with the result.
"

"He replaced a rotten piece of wood on a large window. He also used his superior knowledge to insulate under the window before replacing with new wood. He lacquered the wood and cut it it a perfect match. He did a beautiful job! A new window would have been many thousands of dollars. I am delighted he had the knowledge and confidence to tackle this project. He was extremely punctual and professional. I would consider him a woodworker for other projects in the future.
"

"A drunk driver crashed into our house in the middle of the night. JBenson arrived within 2 hours of having called them for emergency board up service the next day. They sent a crew of 4 (plus an electrician that arrived later). After reviewing the damage, they said they could just board it up or fix the structure. They removed all broken pieces to the structure, reframed the corner, placed sheeting and tyvek and cleaned up the glass around the site. Their electrician (a sub) ran a dummy line through the broken outlet so that we could turn the electricity back on to that part of the house.
The cost listed above is an estimate based on the 5 hours of work. I have not yet seen the claim so I did not rate on cost.
All of the team was very professional and courteous. We are waiting for a final bid to see if they come back to finalize the work.
"

"This project started in July 2015 and it's still not completed. My "new" roof leaks more than the old. In December 2015, I noticed my first leak with the new roof. They blamed it on tuck pointing. The second leak was noticed in May 2016. The latest leak was noticed on 7/23/2016.
So, on August 2 I hired and independent roofing inspector. He found that the chimney wasn't properly sealed , hence the leak in December. The June leak was because they "forgot" to replace flashing and install parts of the guttering. They did come out and install new flashing but only on the leaking window. Keep in mind that the other windows still don't have flashing. I guess they are waiting for those to leak before they install the flashing. The needed guttering was also not installed. The most recent leak has not been addressed. The owner is aware of this problem. I have sent pictures, texts and emails along with the inspectors report but with NO response.
The siding was installed with mismatched colors. I called and let them know that the siding didn't match. I was told it would be fixed asap. The siding was finally replaced 2 +months later but with more mismatched colors. They finally got the siding to match a few weeks later.
I also had to clean up after the workers. I have a covered porch which was sided with brick like shingle material. When they installed the new siding over the old , all the small granules were left on my porch . The porch is carpeted so I was unable to just sweep it up. It needed to be vacuumed up with a shop vac. Because the large granules, it broke my Dyson vacuum immediately. I also had to rent a steam cleaner because one of the workers dropped his big gulp of soda on the carpet and left it there, cup and all. I came home from work to find a floor covered in ants.
I also don't believe that they went over the yard with a metal roller. I have found at least 100 nails in my yard. I am surprised that one of my dogs hasn't stepped on one.
During the entire project, I was NEVER notified of when the workers were showing up. Typically, this may not have been a big deal but it's rather alarming to find 3 workers looking in your window when you're walking around in a towel because you just got out of the shower.
They also left my back gate open not once but TWICE. Each time I would come home and my dogs would be gone. The last time happened on the hottest day of the year. I was LIVID!!! One of my dogs had been missing for 24 hours. I was afraid that he might have died of dehydration or heat exhaustion. Luckily, a neighbor found him under a bush.
I had so many problem that I was told that we would have a meeting between myself, the sales person, the project manager, PEI owner and the roofing foremen to discuss all the problems and get them taken care of. This never happened !!!

Do not use this company"
