We called them in for a full house remodel - their quote was not just reasonable, but professional in that they advised where not to waste money and where to focus on quality. The work was done incredibly fast, with multiple teams working at the same time (electricians on one floor, plumbers downstairs, and paint and flooring done in parallel). All in all they are professionals and will tell you what's best so you don't have to research everything and explain pros&cons. The communication is stellar - accessible by phone/email and will show up when asked, with clear updates on progress and next steps. The final bill was exactly per quote - because they SAVED ME MONEY, and then I got to invest in quality parts/projects. After the project was done, they were responsive and came out same day for follow-ups and little touch-ups. These guys have been doing this for a long time and it shows. Even if they are too busy to do a project they will either schedule it out or recommend someone else they trust and work with. Recommended to countless neighbors, family and friends. The quality of their work is amazing. You can't even see the old red paint and the pergola turned out exactly as we imagined. "We had a rough start, reflected in my original review that I'm updating now. 6 weeks after giving them a 33% deposit, we still hadn't gotten a start date or even a date for a date. After several escalations we finally got a start date. The demolition crew showed up promptly on that day, and were very capable and professional in the way they took down the old porch and poured the concrete piers for the new one. Then a couple of days later the materials were delivered -- good looking lumber, looked good enough to make furniture out of. Then a couple of days later the carpenters showed up and they did a really good job. The new porch looks beautiful. I would hire them again in spite of the rough start."

"Everything Went perfect I love my deck! It took a little longer because the deck was attached to the house and when we took out the old one realized that we had to repair the side of the house. No worries though because Tom did that too! Tom also installed some lighting for me, replaced my backsplash in the kitchen and assembled some furniture for me. The biggest was the deck which turned out beautiful! But Tom can do everything, does it very well, can be trusted, and I’ll be calling him again to stain the new deck in spring."

The carpenter was creative in delivering a great product. I would like to assume that some carpenter would have charged a bit less, but it would not have been worth the savings to either get inferior service, a headache, or a questionable product."
