"We hired Quintessential Renovations to remodel an old, run-down basement in a 100 year old house. Alex impressed us right away with his ideas for the project. It wasn't just us telling him what we wanted, but rather Alex actively building on our ideas and suggesting options. On time, reasonably cleaned up, courteous, happy to hear our concerns during the project - really top rate professionals. A few issues arose with the subbed out drywall and painting, but this was rectified when Alex was also unhappy with the work and brought in a better crew at no cost to us to finish the work. We also had an issue with the supply of new custom windows that dragged out for many months, but in the end Alex was (finally) able to find a suitable supplier on the third try and the windows look great. Would hire again."

"John did a fabulous job of giving our powder room a needed facelift. First he removed the existing sink and toilet (toilet was saved and reinstalled). He then tiled a rather complicated design layout using pencil tile details, subway tile and accent tile. The tile was picked out by us but John implemented the layout. He then reinstalled the toilet and a new vanity as well as overhead lighting, outlets and switch plates. John gave a lot of attention to details and care in keeping the worksite neat. His price for the job was very fair! This was NOT the first time John has done a home project for us.....we've used his skills for the last 20 years! If that doesn't say it all, I don't know what does! He's the best!"
