"The Roto-Rooter plumber was great and explained everything clearly. He fixed the issue and left everything neat and clean. The reason for the 4 star is they were supposed to call 30 mins before arrival. They showed up without calling and I had to rush home from work. The 4 stars is also due to sticker shock (no fault of the plumber). Original quote was $720 for a clogged drain. They knocked it down to $500 with only a 30 day warranty rather than 6 month. He found the clog at 35’ (10’ beyond my 25’ snake) in less than 20 mins. I now know I can get a 125’ power snake with all the different pipe size attachments for $300. I do appreciate the promptness of Roto Rooter, ease of scheduling, and fixing the issue right away, but I will invest in my own 100’ snake before spending $500 for 20 mins of labor (not including their travel). Thanks Roto Rooter for jumping on this and fixing the issue in less than 24 hours after contacting you."

"Always late or never turned up, he gave every excuse under the sun. Workmanship was very poor, he always left a mess that we ended up cleaning up afterwards. Still not finished the job after 4 months and we ended up hiring someone else to finish and redo the poor remodel and trim."

"It went awful. DJ never showed up… BOTH times… On February 5th him and I decided to settle on February 16th at 2 P.M. for him to come out to fix my plumbing. On February 16th, at 12:20 P.M., he decides to text saying he couldn’t come I’m assuming because there was some snow but he didn’t tell me why. Him and I texted back and forth and settled for him to come out February 22nd at 2 P.M. He texted me at 12:45 P.M. saying he was done driving for the day… that he would have to reschedule again… So he cancelled TWO TIMES on me within two weeks and he thinks that everything can just be on his time and when he feels like doing it I don’t feel like a valued customer He cancelled on me TWICE and I’m not going to be fooled a third time… I’ll give someone a second chance but not three times especially when I’m spending my hard earned money on something to get fixed… I’ll NEVER call this plumber again… NEVER. PLEASE DON’T HIRE HIM"
