"I hired Diego of Upper Level Construction, Inc. to do the work of totally replacing the 2 roofs of my house. While some other potential contractors were only content with a satellite image of the roof I chose Diego because of his 'Boots on the roof approach': He deftly set up a ladder and walked all over the roof taking pictures, which helped me to appreciate just what was needed. He also had a good look at the plywood underlayer in the attic. It turned out that a part of the lower roof needed to be raised to have an adequate slope-none of this could have been seen from just a'skyview.' The existing very old triple layer of shingles and asphalt layer were removed and replaced by an all new underlayer and attractive shingles by the work team-all in one day. On the way they took care of unexpected minor issues such as reconnecting air exhaust vents and repairing gutter leads at no charge. I was very pleased with the work that was done, both terms of its quality and its fair cost."

"From initial review for estimate, Adam was superb in educating me and answering all of my questions. More importantly, treated me with utmost respect as a woman engaging this project. I was sold on Universal being a certified CertainTeed product installer. It is a superior product than what is sold in general big box stores such as Home Depot. Day of 2 layers of old shingles removal, inspector Abe showed me the sins of others. The base wood was circa 1938, and needed to go. Not unexpected however they worked with me to arrange a loan to support the extra work estimate. As well my chimney was sadly in need of professional pointing beyond the shoddy patch jobs done by prior owners. I was assigned a project manager Ben, that kept all the work moving at pace as outlined. The workers were all responsible and respectful of me and my plants and property. "Very professional, yet friendly. They repaired the damaged areas & replaced the roof on my detached garage, all while matching the shingles on the house. I think Frankie did a better job than the company that did the house roof 3 yrs ago! Cleanup was near perfect; I haven't seen any dropped nails left (I had several with other company, even though they did a cleanup too). Only a few tiny pieces of shingles easily missed among the un-raked overwintered leaves. Definitely would hire again!"
