"They were pretty good. He came out and did what he needed to do and did a couple extra things. It was A-1 service. The guy has been in business for a long time. It took about an hour or so."

"They did fine. I had no problem with them. The deal was very reasonable. I had more gutter length than their special covered but we take care of the gutters. The guy told us upfront that we had more length and it was going to cost extra but it wasn't like we were 20 feet over so it wasn't a lot of money. When he finished, he said that those gutters were really clean so he has no sense charging us extra for it so he didn't charge us any extra. They came right when they said they would. They actually called me a few days before and said that a couple of the guys were sick and asked if they could come later and I told them they they could. They came right out and got right on it."

"Choice was fast, efficient, and kept me posted on the progress of the claim. Although the water leak issue was discovered on a Friday, they had a plumber there to investigate by Saturday morning. When it was determined that the 20+ year old heater needed to be replaced, the replacement ordered, on-site, and installed by Wednesday morning. I am glad that we opted for the Choice Ultimate plan as other than the initial $65 service fee, all but one $50 ancillary expense was covered."

"Communication with Cretec was always prompt and courteous. I needed a few clarifications at a couple points in the process and they were always given quickly and clearly.
The work started on-time and proceeded smoothly with the entire job taking about a week and a half (with some off-days for the footings to set, but that was timed to be mostly over a weekend anyhow). 
The footings were done perfectly and are nicely flush with the new floor. No more trip-hazards! (or, non-existence in a couple cases...) and no more concern about structural adequacy either.
The floor itself is level and smooth with clean joints to the wall, which had to have come with some difficulty as this is in an old house with lots of "character" in the basement's tolerances.
The only negative aspects of the experience were that some debris was left on-site that took a while to get cleaned up after the job was done, and the new opening to the floor drain was sized and shaped very strangely such that I'll have to grout it out myself to get a cover to fit. Relatively small complaints on such a large job though, and it wouldn't stop me from using Cretec again.
The work was finished on-quote as well, which was also appreciated as jobs of these size and character tend to come with surprises.

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
