"I always read reviews, but I am sorry to say I seldom write one. But, not to do so in the case of Magni Flooring would be a disservice to the company and to the community. I needed a quick, partial replacement of wood flooring. I called and left a message with Magni. Co-owner Marcin Toroj called me back that day and came to my house the next to discuss the project. He thoroughly explained the process and wrote a fair estimate. I immediately accepted and he scheduled the work for the next day. His installer was delayed on another job, so Marcin delivered the new wood himself. Melvin soon arrived and did an excellent job. The other co-owner inspected the work as it progressed and Marcin did so at the end. The job was completed as promised and on time. I was greatly impressed and will certainly use Magni Flooring again should I need their services. You should too!"

"We contacted District Floor Depot when we were moving into a new house to possibly refinish existing wood floors. Once we (...they!) fully removed the carpets and saw the condition of the floors, we decided to install LVT instead and only refinish the wood staircase. Everyone was very professional and took time to explain things to . me. I had an in-home consultation, and also went into the RI Avenue showroom to choose the flooring. The proposals were very detailed. I would definitely recommend District Floor Depot and would use them again. "The floors came out very nicely. the stain plus two coats of oil-based polyurethane really gave the floor a great satin finish. They could have done a better job of dust control. Only when I asked the workers to isolate the kitchen did they put up plastic sheeting but that was between sandings so dust had already infiltrated everything. Wiping down every shelf and horizontal surface has been a big pain. The dust even landed upstairs in the bedrooms. They left rub marks on my walls from the equipment hoses or power cords. They also forgot to plug in my clothes dryer. (They used the 220v outlet for the floor sander.) Their price was the best though and i only point out the negatives to help others avoid the dust problem. I wish I had known about dust mitigation techniques so I could have insisted more firmly on taping thoroughly plastic sheeting over doorways to keep the fine dust out. My house was empty before I moved in so that made the project a lot easier."

"These guys are amazing! I had a company come in before these guys and quit in the middle of the job because my floors were engineered hardwood and were difficult to sand without damaging the floor. 
Madera Floors came in and was not scared to take on the challenge of fixing the first company's work. Madera Floors sanded the floor with precision and care, did amazing edge sanding work, patched all the gaps, and fixed all the blemishes. Their attention to detail was outstanding. They took the extra steps to make sure the job was done right. No shortcuts. I was super impressed by how many tools and different steps were involved in the process, which they could have easily skipped. They came on short notice and helped me fix up my place to sell when other companies were scared of the job. I was super impressed and will go back to Madera Floors again and again for any type of work like this. 
Lesson learned: When it comes to refinishing hardwood floors, don't go with a general contractor, go with an expert. I honestly believe no company could have done better.

"The owner personally came to our home and walked through the area to measure and show us the examples. Once we picked the flooring he quickly provided an estimate. The work team let us know exactly when they would begin work and arrived right on time. The flooring and carpet removal as well as laying the new hardwood was completed in one day. The sanding and refinishing took two days for the final coat of finish and sanding. They did a good job of keeping the dust contained and cleaning up after the job. The crew was polite and courteous and eager to make right any errors or adjustments we requested. We will be going back for any future flooring needs."
