"I asked J Bailey for a price on repairing exterior wall cracks and painting my main house and back cottage. Although his price was fair, because I am on a fixed retirement income I could afford only to have the main house done. I was worried that, because the job was pretty small, he would pass on it (it’s happened before), especially since a lot of his work is pretty big projects, but he was very understanding and re-wrote the proposal for the main house only, plus he agreed to let me look on to learn how they did the repairs and the materials they used so I could try to do the back house myself later. He used subcontractors for the work but it was a very small and tightly knit crew, and Jeff Bailey was on site several times to make sure everything was going as planned. This was the first impressive thing about J Bailey—even though my job was a small one, it was getting the same level of consideration as his big jobs. The second impressive thing was how communicative everyone was. They texted daily to inform me who would show up when, and what work they would do the next day, and told me in advance the one day they couldn’t make it due to weather. When they were here, they described step-by-step what they did. About the contractors: Maynor (sorry if sic) patched all the major cracks. He told me what he used, and described what he was doing and what tools I’d need for my back house. He did excellent work, once the paint was on you can’t see any trace of the patch jobs. A father-son team, Ed & Brandon, did the initial pressure-washing, most of the minor crack patches (Maynor came back and helped on one day), priming, and painting. Ed did most of the painting. He showed me what to use for patches and how to work it into the cracks. He used top-of-the-line paint, Benjamin Moore, and did a meticulous job, he got into some pretty difficult spaces to get the porch and patio walls. And even though my back door and steps were not in the contract, he painted them anyway with the leftover paint I had the last time I painted them. These guys do a great job for what they’re hired to do, and go above & beyond their contracted responsibilities to make sure the job is not only right, but the best."

"The entire process went extremely well. They first sent a supervisor to estimate the extent of the problem and determine what equipment and how much equipment would be necessary. Within the same day, the men with the equipment showed up and took readings to determine any and every area that was affected by the water leaks from the roof, brought in fans and de-humidifiers and carefully set them up. They were very respectful of my property and took great care in setting up their equipment so as not to damage walls or furniture. They set up an incredible amount of equipment, explained what each piece did and addressed every concern I had including any possible liability with leaving the equpiment running while I was not at the house. The gentlemen that installed and subsequently removed the equipment were courteous, polite, well-organized and very efficient."

He had to also deal with our city which wasn't clear on their requirements after going to the ourselves and Dino also going to them to find out the requirements. Like any work done, it's important for you to look over and be happy with the job and Dino walked the job several times with us to insure a job well done and again address any of our concerns.
