"Job was done well. They took samples, sent them off to the lab, kept me informed, abated the asbestos floor, demolished the kitchen and soffits, and stayed until the air quality test came back clear. And they were polite and hard working. Fathers and sons team. Off ice support always answered my calls and answered questions."

"Good communication throughout the process. Their price was competitive with the other quotes I got. Would hire again for another abatement project."

"We had to deal with a popcorn ceiling removal that pivoted into a ceiling drywall takedown. Affordable Environmental was extremely communicative throughout the entire process. They arrived on time and completed the work on time. Very professional service. Would hire again."

"We are doing a basement remodel in a 1960's era home that had asbestos confirmed in the ceiling. Our contractor suggested we could save money by contracting the service ourselves. I contacted Protech Environmental through Angie's List based on the number of good reviews for this type of work. They responded quickly and told me what was necessary to get a quote. I figured out the sq footage of the ceiling area needed to be scraped off and Jason was able to respond quickly, file the necessary permits, and we set a date that worked for both of us. The workers arrived promptly as planned, did the work and completed the work on time. They walked us through upon completion. We were delighted with the ease of doing business with them, the good communication which addressed any issues we had, and they left the job site clean. The invoice was exactly what was quoted, no hidden fees or charges. Much easier than we expected, always a nice surprise."

"We discovered asbestos in our attic during a recent renovation. Uriel and his partner, Elder, were recommended to us by the company we hired to clean out the attic. Uriel walked us through the steps involved, and Elder exceeded every expectation set. Elder and crew worked quietly and efficiently, completing the job ahead of schedule. They sealed off the attic and adjacent room to contain the material and left the affected areas in immaculate condition at the completion of the project. I cannot say enough good things about them and happily recommend them to anyone needing asbestos abatement services."

"So great. Derrrick was flexible, human and understanding while still being professional and affordable compared to others in the market. His price came in at 1/2 that of another quote I got, and he answered all of my (totally paranoid) questions about health, safety and precautions taken to protect our home and family from rogue asbestos fibers. He and his crew do a swipe of the space before and after and send it to labs to verify that everything is clean. My kitchen counter ended up with LESS asbestos on it after the removal than before... which just made me feel 100% comfortable with the processes they used. It's called above and beyond for a reason - and shockingly, that isn't about the price. Also Derrick is the nicest guy. What a great find. Thanks Angies list!"

"First, let me start by saying that we aost went with a different company, but then tried to find reviews of the companies elsewhere, and found an abatement licensing website where the original company had several complaints filed against them, some of them as recent as this year. So we decided to go with this company instead, and I am so glad we did despite a few minor hiccups. Sam was able to get a permit approved quicker than the standard turnaround time and got the job started in about 3 business days from when we decided to move forward with him. Even though they started a day late, took a day longer than expected, and left the ceiling in rough shape (some strips of paper hanging and wrinkles in the sheetrock paper), the customer service was superb. Sam explained it was because the asbestos had been painted so many times that it was much more difficult to remove. Also, I estimated my square footage incorrectly, and they only charged minimally per extra sq ft. They also sent me the lab results of pre, during, and post removal, and I am so glad we had the asbestos removed, because there was asbestos in the air before they even started. The levels were brought down much further when they were done. Also, I was worried about asbestos in the kitchen walls we plan to knock down. Sam was sure that there was no asbestos, but still offered to get it tested for us, and at a much cheaper cost than what I paid myself for the initial ceiling test. Finally, when they were done, I noticed some corners still looked like they had asbestos. While Sam ensured me they were likely old paint chunks, he still came out to inspect and remove anything I was suspicious of. The peace of mind Sam provided was amazing and I would recommend them to anyone!"

"Paul Jose seems to know his business.  He has no agenda other than to find out if you have an air quality issue and then present you with his findings.

He did later contact me to propose an innovative air cleaning device which I was able to install.  He wanted to involve my then HVAC contractor, but they were unresponsive.

Paul seems to be an honest fellow that I would recommend to evaluate air quality issues."

"I had a bad situation of asbestos in my old Seattle home in Sandpoint. I called Alfonso and he was able to get on the job right away! His prices are very reasonable and the overall outcome was amazing. I would hire again!"
