"Paul, the owner, was terrific. I needed to replace a rotting wooden rear entry door with a new ThermaTru fiberglass door. I also wanted to add a storm door to the same entry. Paul came over and inspected the site and we ordered both doors in late December of 2021. The doors arrived several months later and Paul came out for the installation. He was great. He was clearly a meticulous and experienced professional who knew his stuff perfectly. After several hours he had completed the installation of both doors. They look and work great. Paul also cleaned up the interior and exterior areas where he worked and everything was immaculate after he left. Can't of better than Washington Door Service,"

"The installation was careless. Spacer was too short and I have to call manager to replace it. No options to make an door more silent. No shock absorbers to make a silent operation. I think I overpay this installation.

"Our experience with PS Window and Door was outstanding.  Leslie was great to work with.  She showed us multiple options and provided good suggestions, especially for our front door which was not a standard installation.  We also visited their showroom and got other good suggestions from the owner.  Their installation team was always on time and completed all the installations efficiently and professionally.  All the doors look great, fit great, and are a huge upgrade from what we have.  I would definitely use them again.  The "B" on price is only because we did not actually "shop" the job after meeting with Leslie and visiting their showroom.  We may have been able to get a better price, but we place a very high value on how a company interacts with us and our "gut feel" about how they will be when we let them into our home. We had a very good feeling about this company, and we were not disappointed. "

"Scott worked with us as we went through 3 design changes to get the deck we wanted.  We originally wanted to replace the deck and add stairs.  We determined the stairs would look bad extending out past the sliding door on the bottom floor.  We asked Scott to add a landing to have the stairs end at the end of the deck.  The third request was to extend a portion of the deck to fill in out to the new stairs.  Upon acceptance of the contract, he drew up the plans and applied for the permit with the city of Des Moines.  With permit in hand, he went to work.  The job took a little over 2 weeks.  The deck was complete in a timely manner even in the adverse weather.  I had the opportunity to watch him work on occasion and was impressed with his attention to detail.  There were plenty of shortcuts that could have been made but he didn't.  The house was prepared properly for the ledger board along with the proper flashing.  Fascia boards that could have been butt jointed on the corners were mitered instead.  Any boards that didn't look good were rejected.  All said, Scott is a great person to work with on the project.  You will be happy with his work.  His cost is very reasonable.  I wish I had the $$ and more projects for him to do.
