"I think this is my 3rd review for the same job, but I keep thinking of more positive things to share about Chris and Weathermaster. We originally had a leak in one part of the roof. Chris didn't think the entire roof needed replacing at this time, but since we were also going to have solar installed by another provider (GC Electric Solar), we went forward with the whole roof. Chris's bid was the most affordable for the same product- Owens Corning Duration Cool shingles; while I loved the other options, I chose Night Sky color to best blend with solar panels. It has a layer of Titanium UDL 30 underlayment as well as all the new flashing, 4 new turbine vents etc. This shingle reflects heat away from the attic, reducing the amount of heat transferred into the home. This category of Cool shingle comes in 10 attractive colors. Chris brought a sample board for me to see selections. (The solar guys really wanted to do the roof too but they could not come close to Chris's bid for the *same product*. I'm glad we kept the two projects separate.) The work was completed quickly and my husband and I were so impressed by the hard working crew. They did not mess around, but got the job done. The finish was broom clean and debris hauled away. We did discover the gas hot water heater vent pipe had been knocked off its proper position on top of the heater from its manipulation during reroofing. One call and Chris came pronto, fixing it himself that evening. Chris itemized the invoice as we requested, showing costs for the section of roof which would be under the solar panels, and the rest of the roof. Our accountant advised we could include that portion supporting the panels in factoring the solar tax credit (26% in Jan. 2020) The panels weren't installed until February as the demand was high. It looks great and we are very happy we made this investment in our home. "Gary was  prompt and professional for each appointment.  On the initial appointment, he patiently answered all my questions, provided a good selection of products to choose from, and gave a quote for services.  The day of service, Gary prepped & painted the inside of the fireplace as well as all hardware on the doors.  For the finishing touches, he installed a new burner and fire glass.  When he left the area was clean and ready to be enjoyed.  My boring, outdated gas fireplace is now updated, and looks great!!!  I'd hire Gary again. <br />"

"John came out and inspected my gas and wood burning chimneys and vents. Cleaned wood burning unit. Also cleaned out my dryer vent. I love that the company calls me every fall to set up the service. I just found out thay they also service your furnace and are having them come out in 2 weeks top provide this service. <br />"

"Albert came the day after I called to look at the roof and give me an estimate. He then sent me a contract (complete with copies of their insurance and licensing details) which I signed and put in the mail the next day. The cover letter on the contract said I would be contacted within 1 day of their receiving the signed contract. That didn't happen. I ended up calling them to schedule the repairs after 3 or 4 days had gone by. I was told that they would be there between 7 and 8 that morning and was pleasantly surprised when they showed up at 7:15. They immediately got to work. During the course of the repair, they discovered that my skylight (which was connected to the area they were working on) was badly cracked. They told me about it and said it would need to be replaced sometime. That had been on my to-do list so I readily agreed when they said they could go get a skylight and replace it. They called Albert so I could talk to him about it and find out about the price. While one of the workers went to get a new skylight, the other one continued working. They finished all the repairs including replacing the skylight in about 3.5 hours. When they had finished, they cleaned up and took the old skylight to dispose of. I was told that I would receive the bill in the mail, but when I hadn't received anything in over a week, I called to find out about it. I received it about three days after that. The bill was for the agreed upon amount for the repair and the cost of the new skylight. I have used this company before and feel that they do good work and charge reasonable rates. Albert is very pleasant and the two workers were very polite and professional. They might need to work a little on their responsiveness, but overall I am pleased with them and their work and have recommended them to neighbors."
