"It's difficult to find a qualified pro to just install new appliances. Most just repair. Dan willingly came in and installed five new appliances including gas and water hookups. He even rerouted the water and drain lines for the dishwasher to be more efficient and accessible. This was the first time I had worked with Dan and can highly recommend him. Dan is a very personable guy who I will definitely work with again as needed. One additional thing. I'm a vet and learned during our conversations that he is also. Worth knowing."

"I had an old water heater (was in the house when I moved in about 20 years ago) and it started to leak. After shutting off the water to the water heater, I did a little Angie's List research to find a company to do the replacement. I called a couple and decided to use Randy Lane, based on cost and my interaction with them, which I felt was cordial and helpful, and made an appointment.
The service person arrived on time on the day of the appointment and went to work. He disconnected the old heater and hauled it out. The new heater was brought in and he did the needed plumbing work to connect the water and also made the natural gas connections. He fired up the unit and briefed me on the new unit - how to turn-off the water and gas, if needed, temperature, etc.
The area was left in the same condition as when he arrived.

"My freezer went out in the middle of the week, and after calling a couple of other places, I was pleased to find that SOS could send someone out as early as the next day.  The repairman was prompt, professional, and concise.  I noticed that he took his shoes off at the door without me asking, which I (and my hard wood floors) appreciated.  It was about 30 minutes worth of work, which he completed in 30 minutes.  I also appreciated the $20 instant discount for being an Angie's list member.  
I intend to call them again with any appliance issues in the future.
That being said, I rated price a B, not because it was high, but just a really small thing I'd like to see improved for the future. Up front I committed to a diagnostic fee in the event I did not accept the service ( which makes perfect business sense and provides assurance that I'm a serious customer), but the repairman quoted me a price ( only verbally) that perhaps came from his computer or his experience, but I think I would have felt a bit of assurance myself to have seen a listing of prices next to services. Again, small thing, I'd still recommend SOS to anyone."
