The owner Chris Arndt came to the house just 45 minutes after I made the inquiry. He advised me that the brick, mortar, and even the firebox are in very good shape and will last many more years and that all I need is to put a new concrete cap on the chimney then clean and put a water sealant on it. He told me I can actually do all of this work myself and save money on it. Don't get that kind of help very often."

Marlon immediately replied to my e- mail and even called me directly to inform that he can check out our roof the next day. He showed up on time and told us he can repair the roof leak at a fair price. However, he advised us to change the roof in one year time to avoid further leak problem due to the poor workmanship and quality of our roof shingles. He offered us a great deal, and we agreed to completely change the roof instead of simply repairing it. The crew came the next day and finished the new roof installation in 3.5 days. They used good quality shingles that have a 15 year labor warranty. The crew clean up the worksite after their work is done. Our roof looks great and stands out in our neighborhood. "We purchased a house built in 1957 around 2.5 years ago and needless to say have had some major upgrade projects. Last on our list for the time being was upgrading electrical (panel needed to be updated, new circuits added, and lots of new switches and outlets). We've dealt with several contractors from insulation to plumbing, and have had pretty major issues with all of them. Working with Raincap has been great and I am happy to say say we had zero issues - from responsiveness, being upfront about all anticipated costs and providing different scenarios in case they ran into issues (which they inevitably did given our wonky wiring), and showing up when they said they would, to making certain we were satisfied with the work completed before sending the final bill. While we had an idea of what we wanted done, they were able to provide their professional opinion on the feasibility of what we thought we wanted and were also able to to provide alternative options (which ended up being much better than what we originally wanted).
