Everything time they?d run out of money they demanded more, threatening to quit and file a lien . our living situation was coming to end and we were terrified of having no place to stay, it?s been almost 3 yrs since our house burned down. So we kept paying. After our last payment of $165k, they cashed the check for work not completed, and refused to move forward. No heat, electricity, kitchen, no bathrooms. We paid 90% of the project and they took off, taking $1,900 of Kohler fixtures I?d paid out of pocket. Our only choice is a lawsuit."

John converted a bathroom into a laundry/work room that I wanted to be both useful and functional, but also attractive. The project was slightly more complicated than it may sound, because I wanted the plumbing connections maintained but hidden in the event that a future owner wants an additional bathroom again. In the middle of the project, the Santa Fe monsoon season began and we discovered a fairly significant roof leak. John dropped everything, examined the leak, obtained the parts for what turned out to be an incorrectly installed skylight, and fixed it. He also identified and advised on some other items that needed attention in our newly purchased home. Even with the extra work, John came in slightly under budget."
