"We got a new tile relay roof done to our home. Inspections went well and cielo and there crew did a good job. No unexpected cost from our quote and job was very straight forward. Based on my roofing experience I would use them again for other properties or homes that I own."

"One of my relatives recommended to me this home remodeling company after he hired them for his house and they were super happy due to the fantastic job that Best Builders did at his home. At my house I wanted a new patio deck built before the summer will start. Sofia from the main office scheduled me an appointment with one of her people and she sent out Zohar, who worked with me step by step through this entire remodeling project. Zohar is a great guy and a professional person! He made sure that everything is being done exactly as it was promised in the design stage AND each change that he wanted to do (in order to make this project better than it should). The new deck including the covers looks fantastic and it came out much better than I imagined. I’m glad to have worked with Best Builders Group!"

"There are always businesses that stand out from the rest, and that describes Foothill Painting very well. After seeing their excellent work on a neighbor's home, as well as other positive reviews on Angie's List we contacted them for a complete repainting of our house, including a detached three car garage and some interior walls and trim. From the very first meeting with Kevin, one of the co-owners, we knew we were in good hands. All their crew members are regular employees, not sub-contractors. One painter told us that he has been with Foothill for eleven years. The estimate was detailed and professional. They not only painted... They also did quite a bit of stucco and window glazing repair. The prep work was meticulous. What we appreciated the most was their attitude that they would do whatever it took to make sure we were satisfied. Too bad so many businesses don't understand the value of that! Also, they were very careful when moving things out of the way and the cleanup was great. We're sure that there are some other painters who would have submitted a lower bid but, as always, you really do get what you pay for. We feel that we chose the best, and they didn't break our bank."

"Painted full interior of house. They gave a very good estimate, arrived on time and finished and cleaned up on time. They did not try very hard to match specific paint samples I gave them. Nor did they do any prep work (smoothing rough spots or filling cracks, etc.) so I have a new paint job but all the old patches show right through. I would consider using them again only if in the agreement I specifically ask them to sand, patch, fill etc., every single spot on the walls."

"We knew our roof needed to be replaced for a while, but kept putting it off because it felt like such a big project. After meeting with Ocean Seven Builders, we felt comfortable moving forward. Ron was straightforward from day one and didn?t overcomplicate anything. He broke everything down in simple terms and gave us a realistic timeline. The crew worked fast, showed up when they said they would, and cleaned up every day. It?s been a few weeks now and everything looks great. Happy we finally got it done!"

"Sanchez Painting was great to work with, Jay was on top of the project the entire time, and his crew was professional and polite. They all did an amazing job. There was an add-on of work due to unforeseen issues that required more extensive Stucco work, but Jay worked with us to make sure we could get that done, and still remain in budget."

"I contacted Real Construction to completely remodel my Bathroom. The bathroom before the remodel was built in 1989 with old and ugly tile. The toilet was leaking and the smell of sewage was quite bat at times. Sion, the contractor and owner, definitely  has  a modern style and had great recommendations for what a great modern bathroom would look like. The estimate was very accurate to what the final cost was. He only used high-quality material which were still cost-effective and within my budget. The tile work, drywall work, appliances, ceiling, spacious walk in shower, painting, faucets  were done and installed by Real Construction and their amazing team. My experience with Real Construction have been nothing but AMAZING. I would recommend Real Construction to anyone that needs remodeling done anywhere on their property. Thank You, Real Construction for Great Work!!!"

"We did a bathroom remodel and hallway conversion project with GoodFellas construction. We went through several bids from contractors and decided to go with this company because they seemed most genuine and honest. I worked Adam Rosenberg from GoodFellas who oversaw the whole project and his foreman was Able. After going through the whole process of trying to choose a right construction firm and planning and actual working with them through I am very glad and satisfied that I selected them. At any point in time in the process I never felt that Adam or anybody in his was trying to sell us or force us to do something we didn’t need or want. On the contrary, they always suggested good ideas and tried not doing unwarranted work. Their work was very good and thorough and quality of their workmanship is excellent. They never cut any corners. Able and all his crew were very professional and mindful. We were living in the house during the remodel and they cleaned every day before they left. As far as the negatives, I can’t think of much. I would be surprise if a construction or remodel project doesn’t have it ups and down specially if it’s old house like mine. We did have our share or ups and down and back and forth but Adam and his people handled it really well. Just a word of advice to anybody thinking about remodel is a good communication. Talk to them, tell them everything you want, don’t leave out any detail. If you want things in certain way, be specific and don’t assume anything. These guys are very good and will listen to your needs and will not try to push anything down your throat. We had some anxiety about how everything is going to turn out in the end but that anxiety was not a because of anything we or Goodfellas did but mostly because when you invest in something, you want a good end product and I can say for sure it indeed is! We love how everything turned out in the end. Many thanks for Adam and his people and I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family and would choose them in future."

FAQs for traditional stucco repair or partially replace projects in Landers, CA

Minor stucco fixes—like sealing small cracks or adding fresh caulk—often wrap up in an hour or two. Larger jobs that call for cutting out damaged sections, installing new lath, and layering fresh stucco can stretch to three or four days because each coat needs time to cure. A pro removes loose material, cleans and dampens the area, applies a bonding agent, and builds up new layers, matching texture and restoring the wall’s weather shield.

Watch for a stucco surface that stays damp days after a storm, develops dark stains, or feels soft or spongy under light pressure. Inside, moisture rings, peeling paint, or soft drywall around windows point to the same issue. Any of these red flags mean water is trapped behind the siding, and it’s time to call a stucco pro before rot or mold sets in.

Give your stucco a once-over every spring and fall. Semiannual checks let you catch hairline cracks, stains, or damp spots before they snowball into pricey repairs. Keep a flashlight handy, look closely around windows and doors, and call a pro if you notice anything soft or discolored. Staying ahead of minor issues protects both your curb appeal and your home’s weather barrier.

A pro starts by scraping away loose material, then cleans and lightly wets the area so new stucco will stick. After brushing on a bonding agent, they build fresh layers, letting each coat cure before adding the next. The final step is matching the texture and color so the patch blends in and the wall regains full weather protection.

Think of repair as a patch: the pro fixes only the visible crack or hole. Remediation goes deeper—crews strip away the compromised stucco, correct the root problem (often water or mold), then rebuild the wall. If tests show structural rot or trapped moisture, remediation is the safer, longer-lasting route; otherwise, a straightforward repair often does the trick.
