"The Communication and planning up front prior to installation and time line as well as numerous trips back and forth to HD, and Lowes due to the lack of evaluation of additional MISCLANIOUS items needed to hook up sink, didn't clean up behind himself, had to bk another day to do clean up and hook bk up the water line to ice maker, left opening in wall due to his construction, had to get dry wall to get him to fix. Had to buy items I didn't need , he failed to look in Box the sink INCLUDE them... last but not least he took liberties with taking tear down of cabinet to use a filler , never asked me....just did it.....and a lot of back and forth with him about his not wishing me to commit about what I wanted and expected, and I wasn't provided a Angi Discount off the quote price as I thought I would...PLEASE CONTACT ME...TO discuss, I only allowed him to do lower cabinet, I still need the upper 5 to 6 cabinets installed with different contractors....at half the price, I paid him. And this would be two days work, to simply install, the existing remaining units and fit to form based on the size, and space, and use .."

"My built-ins are gorgeous. Tea and George have so much pride in their workmanship that they were visibly frustrated when trying to deal with the many imperfections of my house (uneven walls, floors, and corners), out of concern that it might diminish their perfectly constructed unit. But they patiently and creatively worked through all of the issues and the final product is gorgeous. And when I decided to change the design mid-construction to add built-in lights, they were able to accommodate me. They then accommodated me again by modifying the shelves to make them glass framed in wood so that the light would shine through. The result is stunning. I had a different carpenter handle some built-ins in a different part of my house, but then I chose Tea and George for this project. The difference in experiences was night and day. Art Woodstone's workmanship was much higher quality; the devil is in the details, such as how visible seams are. They were also much easier to work with and more responsive. It was evident that they would not have considered the job complete until not only I was completely satisfied, but until they were completely satisfied with every detail."

"After purchasing an Angie's List Deal, I received the measuring kit in the mail promptly. The template and instructions provided to draw my split table top and each of the leaves were easy to use and understand. I mailed the completed materials and received the table pads very quickly. The table splits in the middle to allow insertion of up to 3 additional leaves. The table also has 2 drop leaves. That's 7 pads. All fit perfectly. I have used them on the table for family parties (not every day) and they're durable and built to last. I keep them in the box they arrived in to protect them when not in use. These are a worthwhile investment."

"I have 6 old chairs that I love because they swivel and rock. We have them in the breakfast room. Over time the mechanisms stopped working (these are perhaps close to 20 years old). All new chairs seem to be straight legged. I could have ordered new chairs from this store (they do custom new work, too) but my bucket seats were fine. It took about 2 and a half months for the new bases to come in, but they have custom made wooden legs.
A few months later I noticed that three of the castors were broken and one was the wrong size. I only use 4 of the chairs on a regular basis, and three of the damaged ones just happened to be on the chairs I stored. I called the store and emailed photos of the castors. With no questions asked, they ordered the new castors AND came to my home to replace them. This is just excellent customer service, especially as I had had the chairs back for months. Nice.

"I never contacted the provider or used this service in anyway. I have to
write this review so that the request to write this review stops
popping up.
The rating is bogus as it is required to be able to submit.

"Closet Pioneers is a one stop shop for your closet installation or laundry room renovation. Ayca did a remarkable job designing the laundry room renovation project especially with our space constraints. She listened to the customer and made design changes quickly to keep the flow. Once designed the shelving and cabinets were customized in their facility. Next came the expert installer Romani who did a fabulous job installing and adjusting cabinets and shelving to meet some of our last minute changes. Finally, their plumber installed the quality faucet selected by Ayca. Overall the project was finished on time, within budget with excellent quality and workmanship."

"His work was outstanding in all respects. He was completely trustworthy. His price was right in the middle of all the estimates I got. In my case he stuck to his estimate but he didn't find any unexpected damage while he was working either. He did the job in 4 hours less than quoted maximum time frame. I'd have no hesitation in recommending his services are using his services again.

"Result Stunning! We?re thrilled! Thank You Creative Concepts Design Center!
Background
My wife and I had talked about updating our master bathroom for several years ? the old cultured-marble countertop and sinks, the shower pan, the rickety shower door, the bathtub we never use, 4x4 tile everywhere. On a whim, we attended a Dulles Expo Home and Garden show and saw exhibit after exhibit of standard colonial and traditional bathrooms ? until we saw the Creative Concepts Design Center, CCDC, exhibit and met Yahaira Carrillo. Pow! Beautiful contemporary/modern tiles, cabinets and designs. Exactly what we wanted.
Process
Yahaira visited our home to see our existing bathroom, take some preliminary measurements, and talk some more about our hopes and ideas. It was immediately clear she is an extraordinary designer who reaches out to really get to know the individuals with whom she works ? quite important, because there?s a lot of collaboration during design, construction and completion.
Next, we sent some images of a few master bathrooms we liked from the Houzz web site to further communicate our thoughts. We then met at the CCDC Fairfax showroom to see a 3D rendering of Yahaira?s concept and samples of the tiles, cabinets and countertops she proposed. We were blown away! She absolutely nailed it! The textures and colors and design far exceeded what we?d imagined. A very, very exciting moment. And Yahaira, who?d asked to see the rest of our home during one of her visits, had masterfully tied in the colors and finishes we have in our house so that our new master bathroom would become an integral extension of our home.
Yahaira and Juan Carlos ? an extraordinary craftsman who led the exceptional team responsible for the construction effort ? then visited our home with the samples to finalize the design: dimensions for a walk in shower that replaced the old tub, wall removal, means to extend and join an existing soffit and vaulted ceiling, tile height, grout colors, fixture locations and so forth. They?re complete professionals, pointing out pitfalls and concerns as well as making brilliant suggestions that pulled the whole project together. Yahaira is all about the details - there?s a lot that needs to come together to minimize construction time and assure proper fit and finish.
Once we were all in agreement, CCDC began to order materials, stocking job inventory in their warehouse under our name, and deferring project start until everything was available to further assure minimal construction time.
Result
The project was completed exactly on time (with daily visits by Juan Carlos and frequent visits by Yahaira - she determined the optimum placement for each of the subtly different shower tiles, for example) and the result far exceeds anything we imagined.
Well done!!! Thank You!!! Words can?t capture how happy we are with the appearance and how well the space works!!!
Value
If you?ve read this far, you?ve probably looked at articles about the cost to do various home projects. Our cost was very fair in comparison. But here?s the key: we?ve heard a number of stories about ?figure adding 10% to 20% to the quote because of changes or problems that occur during construction.? We did, in fact, make a few modest changes (moving valves to the other end of the shower, adding an extra niche etc.) and the CCDC crew found a problem that required some structural repair. In the grand scheme of things the changes weren?t large, but CCDC would have been within their rights to charge us more. They
didn?t. Our sense is they take tremendous pride in the totality of a project ? the appearance, the construction and the terms - and once agreed, they do their very best to delight their clients, including standing behind an established price. Certainly major changes would have added to the cost, but CCDC will earn your respect for not ?nickel and diming? your budget.
Summary
We are completely delighted. The result is totally stunning. The design and materials are, frankly, thrilling to behold, the craftsmanship is impeccable and Juan Carlos?s team did everything possible to minimize the clutter, dust and disruption during
construction, completing the project on time and as quoted. This company deserves your business.
