If you use him get his estimated cost before you tell him you are on Angies list. I base this on calling another plumber and being quoted a lesser price, but it would have caused me to go another day without hot water, so I used Larry."

"Rudolph arrived on time and was prepared to work the full day if needed to complete our projects. He has integrity! We had a laundry list of items to be repaired, and he let us know for several items on the list that we should hire another provider to complete the work. Some things he said he could do, but wouldn't do it as well as another professional. He even went so far as to provide us recommendations for who to call for a couple things (custom door weather stripping & ceiling fan repairs). We will be hiring him again later this year to repair and paint our fence/gates as well as install casters on a cabinet. The only reason I gave him a 'B' for quality was because one of our chair legs was repaired with a gap where there shouldn't be a gap, so the attention to detail on this repair faded. The quality of that work was not on par with everything else. He has promised to deliver puddy when in the area next since re-doing the repair may damage the chairs thanks to the wood glue. The wood glue overflow seemed excessive to my husband, but I believe that is normal and we were able to remove it once dry. The other 'B' for professionalism was regarding cleanup - which is one of my pet peeves with contractors. The keys to my back fence gate (which includes a house key) were left in the gate unattended during the day, and not returned at the end of the day. There were extra pieces of the chicken wire which we had to throw away. And the old chicken wire was thrown away in our recycling bin instead of trash bin."

The repairing job was not very big, but included many different works, such as drywall in both master bed room and master bath room, painting, install new cabinet in master bath room.... We have contacted many companies, some company can't meet our schedule, some company can only do drywall and painting. Some company's price was too expensive. We are very lucky to find Mr. Chu from Angle's list. He can do all these work with very reasonable price. Mr. Chu did excellent job for us! "After seeing a coupon and reading some reviews on Angie's list, I called Paul at 8:00am after the refrigerator had not been working for the past 24 hours. He returned my call by 9:00am and set an appointment time between 11:00am and 1:00pm. He arrived on time. He tested several parts of the fridge and explained that the problem was with the defroster thermometer. Went to purchase the new part and replaced it. I was so pleased that he actually returned my call in a timely manner, arrived at the appointed time, and explained exactly why the fridge wasn't working. He was friendly and the price was very fair. We will keep his business card handy for any other repairs we need."

Working with a large format tile, in a diagonal set was complex, but every joint is level, and even. They also replaced all of our baseboards, and these look great too."

"Repair was to fix a small drip leak in the water meter box. The repair would have cost about $1,800 involving removal old plastic pipe and several square feet of concrete. The drip is very small and not worth the cost. The individuals that came out were polite and professional. I will consider using them in the future."
