I first e-mailed a few photos to Bob and explained what I wanted. Within 24 hours, he had responded with some estimates for the job. A few days later I delivered the chair to the Rockville office. Bob listened to what we had in mind. He showed us lots of material and helped us pick out the perfect fabric. He had some other suggestions on how to repair the chair and what style of covering would be best. Within 8 days the job was finished. I picked the chair up yesterday and I couldn't be happier. As I felt the bones of the chairs were in excellent shape but the upholstery was old and tattered, I decided to find out how much reupholstering would cost. The materials he presented were very high quality. I also decided to have him give me estimates on 4 cafe chairs and an office arm chair. "I found Sparkle because of excellent reviews on Angie's List. The reviews did not lead me astray. I had a Danish teak chair from the 1960s that needed cushions. I had found some great vintage upholstery fabric from the era at a specialty store and Sparkle was happy to use that rather than selling me their own fabric. left the chair and fabric with them--they said my job would be complete in two weeks. The chair was ready a day early and I was very pleased with the result. They were careful to replicate vintage details, including the piping on both sides so the cushions can be flipped. The quality is excellent. I had some trouble getting the chair in my car, and the gentleman helping me load it was incredibly helpful. They are very pleasant folks to work with and I understand why their reviews are so good. Upholstering is expensive no matter where you go, but at least with Sparkle, you get what you pay for."
