"Dealt with in-store person for carpet choice, initial rough estimate of timeline and cost.  Separate person came to measure, and a third group to do the actual install, but all of them were through Home Depot.  Everyone was nice and friendly throughout the whole purchase.  Each part of the process (order, measure, final order, install) was preceded with a phone call of the day/time of the next visit, so I knew when to expect folks.  I don't know how they would be about working around a schedule, because I wanted it done asap and took the first time/day option they gave me.  It took about two weeks from start to finish, including the multiple visits (for measure and install) and time for the carpet to be delivered to the installers.   The measurement person had a good suggestion for a tricky spot that solved an issue.  The only downside was the install was late on a Friday and the installers were a bit sloppy on the cleanup since they were trying to get out the door.  They did push hard to be rated a 10 on the Home Depot survey that would come afterwards, but they left a phone number to call to resolve anything that wasn't a 10 so if I'd had problems I could have called. <br />"
