Cody was extremely thorough in preparing the house for painting, and in repairing both, some damaged siding we were aware of, and other areas of rot that were more extensive then we knew. There was a lot to finish as the colder weather set in, but it was clear that Cody wanted to do things the right way without cutting corners. We selected a bolder variation on the previous color scheme, and the finished project looks fantastic. Cody was respectful, easy to communicate with, and fair and transparent in his pricing. Mr. Mom helped us save costs by painting some of his leftover gutter materials so they would not clash with the rental house, and finished the job quickly so we could have it done before more rainstorms caused flooding in the basement.

"They were fine. Jonathan Mayo is the proprietor. He was prompt and he was polite. He did just what he said he would. I would certainly call him again. He was a very nice person. It went beautifully. He arrived promptly at 9 when he said he would. He climbed right up on the roof. He brought shingles because my roof is too old to get the same shingles. He had some similar ones. It took him about an hour and that was it. He came down and left. I was very very pleased. The only thing was that I was thinking about things to do to make the house look good to sell it in a few years. Being a businessman, he asked me if I had considered aluminum siding because that would spruce up the house. You would expect an exteriors person to say that. Of course I don't want aluminum siding because I have got a nice wood clapboard house. That was the only thing that he suggested and my house doesn't need it. Aside from that, the job was wonderful. His work was wonderful. I would not even take that as a prompt because you would expect somebody to recommend other things that they do. He does a lot of things. His card said roofing, siding, decking, windows, skylight repair, chimneys, and roof shoveling. He pretty much does it all for the exterior of a house. I was very pleased with the price. I had nothing else to compare it with. I didn't even bother asking anybody else."

"Nick and his team did a very thorough and quality job. It looks great, and they made an effort in some large and small ways. They were concerned about damaging the roof of the carport, so they took off the roof, did the work and replaced it (Suntuff). I had heat tape on several parts of the garage to correct occasional ice dams, and Nick came back after the job was done and put them back up. They worked to keep the number of nails in the grass to a minimum, and cleaned up after themselves. If there were any challenges, it was controlling the nail population on the ground. Everybody worked hard (including my wife) to use the magnet to clean them up. We also got hit by a big storm in the middle of the job, cutting power to many places and downing trees on our road. This slowed the work a little. We had a few small leaks during the storm, but nothing bad, as they had put the underlayment down before the storm hit. All of this work was done for a very competitive price that couldn't be beat by two other competitors, and it is not possible to control the weather. My wife and I are happy we found him on Angie's List."

"They did a pretty god job and the floors look very good overall. Not knowing much bout floors, I had to rely on what Buddy told me. For the most part the work was done by his two workers with Buddy, ocasionally, "dropping by" to supervise. There were some stains that they couldn't get out on the floor below the sink counter area. Apparantly there was a previous attempt to sand down the floors in the kitchen which left large circular grooves in the floor, (not Buddy's fault). The workers didn't notice it until after the staining. Cleanup was mediocre."
