"The job JRH Asphalt did was absolutely incredible! Our driveway is sloped with a number of areas that needed to be worked around during the paving process. They recommended a multi layer approach, compacting between layers and dealt with every obstacle leaving a final product that was perfect. The JRH Asphalt price was both fair and reasonable, the quality of their work was outstanding and the entire team on site was a pleasure to work with. Thank you!"

"Everything went very well. Richard and his crew were very professional and friendly. They worked non stop until the job was completed. Some of my neighbors will be using them to do their driveways. If I need work done in the future I will not hesitate to call Suburban Asphalt. I will refer them to anyone looking to have their driveways, etc. done."

"John and his crew were excellent from start to finish. They transformed are old broken and cracked driveway into beautiful combination of asphalt and paver border with paver apron that John had mentioned We were so impressed with how the driveway was turning out. "Their price was fairly expensive but I would say fair. The service was excellent. They didn't make a mess. They come back when there was something that they needed to repair. They back promptly and didn't charge extra. They are very fair. It is a family own business."

"Had used another company previously but was looking to change to another company. Found SealPro on this site, and after reading some reviews and checking their site I called and asked a few follow up questions. Satisfied with the answers I retained SealPro. There price was competitive with what I previously paid, but I can't say if the price was high, low or just right since I didn't get other estimates. Had to wait a while for them to schedule me, and that happened only when I called to inquire as to when they might be coming. I was told that due to the amount of rain they were a bit backed up (reasonable answer) and they could actually schedule me in a couple of days. They showed up on time, worked quickly and cleanly, and the driveway looks as good as one could hope for given what sealing does. The few questions I had when they were on site were answered well, and I felt very comfortable with my choice. Just have to manage your expectations because there were a few imperfections and I actually consulted someone I know out of state who explained to me what causes those imperfections, in that sealing is not a resurfacing and imperfections that were there previously sometimes become more noticeable with a fresh application of sealant."

"They were very good. They came did the job and left. Very professional.

They brought a lot of equipment with them and did the work in one day. There were four workers and they completely cleaned up after work was done. The fact that they came when they were supposed to and did the job quickly was very important."

FAQs for asphalt paving installation projects in Lebanon, NJ

Most driveways wrap up in roughly a week. Allow two to three days for installation, followed by an additional two to three days for the surface to cure. Concrete and asphalt follow this timeline, whereas a gravel job often finishes more quickly. Laying out the schedule upfront makes it easier to plan your week and your budget.

Sealer prevents water, salt, and UV rays from damaging the surface. Apply a fresh coat every one to three years, and you’ll slow down the growth of cracks, avoid pricey repairs, and keep the driveway looking sharp. A local professional can handle the job efficiently and ensure even coverage.

Material is the significant driver when it comes to the lifespan of a driveway. Asphalt stays strong for about 20 years, concrete lasts 30 to 40 years, and paver stones can last 50 to 100 years because you can swap out damaged bricks. With regular top-ups, a gravel drive can also reach the century mark. Knowing these timelines helps you map out long-term maintenance and replacement costs.

Repaving strips everything down and starts fresh, letting you change the layout or improve drainage before pouring new material. Resurfacing, on the other hand, adds a top layer over a solid base, giving you a facelift without the need for a complete demolition. Go with repaving when the base is failing; choose resurfacing when the structure is sound and you just need a new surface.
