"I hired this contractor to install a stone patio, seal my driveway, and pressure wash my home. The contractor did an excellent job on all three! Jobs were done quickly and were very well priced. I highly recommend them!"

"This review is long overdue. I contacted Sealpro Mahwah because I have seen their work in several driveways in the neighborhood. I can literally see why they are recommended. Their work looked very good on every driveway that i saw. I contacted the business and response time was very good. I spoke w Lou and he was upfront, honest and very nice. We discussed work that needed to be done- sealcoating and crack fills. We were able to negotiate the quote. I admit the quote was not the lowest of the three bids I received from companies BUT Lou seemed the most upfront of what we could expect. I was comfortable on price we landed on and very happy I went with SealPro. I have recommended to my neighbors and would use them again. Thank you to Lou, his crew and everybody at SealPro."

"<p>I am selling my 200+ year old house in Mendham Township, NJ and in order to meet the buyer's purchase conditions, it became necessary to repair/replace the roof and mitigate the occasional water seepage in the basement.  I had use Chapelwood previously on another job and knew the quality and speed of their work so I called them first for consultation and cost estimates.  They responded immediately and I quickly had their opinion on the scope and cost of the repair work which I found to be very reasonable and acceptable.</p> <p>Chapelwood excavated a corner of the basement where water leaked in, installed a sump pump basin and sump pump electric unit, a drain in front of the boiler at the lowest spot on the floor and fed it into the sump pump basin and installed a pvc drain pipe from the sump pump through the foundation wall to the outside yard. Outside the house, they redirected two downspouts away from the house. All work was completed in less than 2 days and within just 1 week of signing the Contractor Agreement.  There was a heavy rain since then, but no seepage in the basement...I'm very happy with the results.  </p> <p>I took their advice of fully replacing the 25+ year old roof rather than spot fixes here and there and that job was also done quickly and well.</p> <p>All work was done quickly and professionally by very competent workers and I found dealing with them to be a pleasure.  This was all a "rush" job and Chapelwood was able to work me into their schedule in order to meet the closing date for the sale of the home.  </p> <p>I would absolutely use these guys again.</p>"

"Innovation co is the only company I found to be true mason is restoring the brownstones, especially stoops. This is not my opinion actually it’s a fact, they have completed hundreds of stoop in Brooklyn, and all around the city. During our consultation ekram gave a full list of references approximately over 100s of addresses. I was shocked at the beginning. But then after my own research I found them to be a true master mason for restoring these beautiful stoops in historic districts of our neighborhood. We love the way our stoop turned out to be and it looks amazing."

"Scheduling was a little challenging, as is the case with all Angie's deals, but not a big problem. <br /> Vendor responded quickly to messages. <br /> They came and had a pretty good quality brown mulch. Was better than I expected, actually. They were very helpful and really wet above and beyond - doing some minor weeding and prepping of the beds as well as spreading them. They were very careful with the existing plants and everything was very clean. <br /> In the past, we would have folks come in and just toss everything fast then leave. Not the case here. Emerald really did a good job. <br />"

"We had leaking in our roof by our chimney which is in the center of the house and had trouble getting anybody to help - we had called over 10 different roofers with no replies. Finally found out about Roff and they came after only a day or 2 and not only found what the problem was and promptly fixed it, but discovered that the problem was caused by faulty workmanship by the guys who installed our new roof only 4 yrs prior. I can't begin to express the extent of my gratitude to them, not only would I use Roff to do any project I have in the future, but I highly recommend them to anyone else looking for reliable, quality workmanship."

FAQs for gravel or loose fill paving install, spread or scrape projects in Lebanon, NJ

To calculate how much pea gravel you need for your project, multiply the length, width, and depth of the area you want to cover to find the volume in cubic feet. Then, divide that number by 27 to convert it to cubic yards to determine the amount of pea gravel you need.

A yard of pea gravel weighs about 1.3 tons or 2,600 pounds. Keep in mind that wet gravel weighs more than dry, and different types of gravel can vary in weight. For example, due to its density, river rock weighs significantly more than crushed stone and pea gravel.

The ideal depth for pea gravel depends on the type and size of your project. You'll need at least two to three inches for walkways and patios and a minimum of six inches for driveways to support heavy vehicles and prevent shifting over time. Aim for a depth of three to four inches in decorative garden beds or drainage areas.

Pea gravel is attractive, versatile, and low-maintenance. It provides excellent drainage, making it ideal for pathways, driveways, and garden beds. On the downside, its sharp texture isn't ideal for bare feet, and it can be challenging to weed or remove once installed. It can also shift underfoot without proper edging, creating an uneven surface.

Alternative landscaping materials you can use instead of pea gravel include wood chips, decomposed granite, crushed stone, pebbles, quartz, mulch, sand, and river rock. These materials offer different aesthetics, performance, and costs, so it’s important to do your research to determine which one best fits your landscape design and budget.

Many homeowners choose pea gravel because it requires minimal upkeep compared to other landscaping materials. You'll need to rake it occasionally to redistribute the stones and maintain an even surface. Pros also recommend installing weed barrier fabric beneath the gravel to prevent unwanted growth, although some weeds may still appear over time.
