"It went fine, however, I was told the job would take roughly 8 hours for 1 person. It ended up being 15 hours, partly with a second handyman. So it was twice as much as we were expecting, and the price is already pretty high. Also, the second handyman brought an extra piece of siding that was not needed. We had already purchased a piece and had it painted, ready to install. So that was an unnecessary added expense. But I guess it's ok as we'll probably need it at some point in the future. What was really weird is that the same mistake happened when we had a piece of siding replaced a few years ago! Overall, they did a good job though, despite the cold weather."

"I called Jonathan on a Monday morning and he returned my call the same day, and came out the next day to look at the job and provide a quote.  I accepted his bid and he got started the next day.   He provided thorough information about the various product options. The craftsmanship of the new boardwalk is so much better than what was there before. He did quality work in the time promised and cleaned up completely after the job was finished. I was very pleased and will have him back to do the next phase of our decking replacement when the time comes.

The gutters were installed by a different crew the day after the roof was finished. Removing the old gutters and installing the new took less than 2 hours. "I pay a monthly fee to CHW for insurance against equipment failure. Over a month ago CHW sent a repair technician to fix both of my garage doors, the technician made an adjustment on one door and chanced the opener on the other. A week or so ago the second door failed to open. Yes, my door opener is old, but the Warrantee says, if it can’t be fixed it will be replaced. CHW paid the tech $100 and said the rest $200 is on me. Please tell me why I should stay with CHW if I have to pay 2/3rds of the cost to replace the door opener? On a separate issue: Granted I accepted CHW’s offer of a Lowe’s card to replace my dishwasher, because I was unaware of how much dishwashers sell for, it cost me an additional 300. Again, please give me a reason for staying with CHW"
