"I hired to remove my ceiling texture and paint in my living room and upstairs hallway. The upstairs hallway is technically not finished and there were a lot of damages done to my home. One man showed up to do the work. he did not really tarp off anything. He made a huge mess in the process covering my porch, new front doors, kitchen, and all my carpeting in dust. They had to sub out my project to another company. Mr Handyman paid a cleaner to come and clean my carpets. The company they used did not get the dust out of my carpet because a few days later I vacuumed and pulled out ~2 lbs of white dust from my carpets. They also tried to clean my front doors with cleaner that was too strong and stripped the finish on my doors. They paid a second company to come a remediate the floor work. They also restained my deck since we could not get the white cast off it. They terminated our relationship telling me to keep final payment. I was quoted over 9k, I paid ~4.5k and still have damages."

"Please learn from our mistake and do not work with Westward Renovation. We selected them to construct an addition on our home. After we signed the contract and provided the deposit, the problems began. After lots of big promises and regular communication, the calls dropped off and the fact that there was no method to the madness became clear. Once construction began, they started deviating from the engineering plans with out engineer or county approval, they skipped required inspections, and the quality of the work of the subcontractor they selected for framing was just awful. When we raised concerns we were told to "trust the process." After their negligence resulted in rain leaking into our existing home not once but twice! we gave them 2 weeks to fix the myriad of issues that had arisen by that point. 2 weeks later we terminated our contract, with most of the issues still unresolved. We're currently pursuing filing a complaint with the construction contrac"

"The cover to our patio looks great, but ... to install the three posts. they needed to cut into the existing stone patio. After the cover was installed, they did an inadequate job replacing the stones around two of the three posts. I went to the office to pay for the work, told them of this problem, and they told me to send photos and they would get it addressed. I've sent photos (twice), but they have ignored my requests. Lesson learned: don't pay until you are completely satisfied."

"We have a home that was built in 1930, that is loaded with charm but needed some adapting to our family’s needs. It had two too many doors and one large window that we never used because it looked directly at the neighbor’s driveway! We also needed to have new windows and floors installed, custom bookshelves built, and of course new paint. We decided to hire Fred because from Day One you could tell he was someone that was knowledgable and someone you can trust. Having someone you can trust to do projects in your home is so important because they become a part of your lives for at least a month or so! Fred took care of everything: the supples, installation, paint, and making sure that the brick installers completed the job successfully as well. I now have an office that used to be an “all weather” porch that I can actually be in all day, another office/second bedroom that has more wall space thanks to the seamless work Fred did in closing up a large window and door (not to mention it was with plaster!) He was really precise in doing “delicate demo” since we were trying to save as much of the old house charm as possible. We were even able to use one of the doors in my new office, and it looks beautiful. Cost wise, everything was up front and there were no surprises (even though he was very gracious about us adding items along the way (like extra plugs and installing a storm door). We also had our attic re-insulated and part of our floor lifted which Fred took care of as well. He communicated with us every step along the way, which is also so important. We hope to have a custom closet installed in the near future and will definitely call Fred to do that project as well! 10/10 recommend Fred Oakley for your home renovations!"

"Uzi and the team at American Services of TN are just incredible. I had a variety of concepts and ideas for my new home, including converting a spare room into a master bathroom and reworking some dead space in the kitchen. I reached out and they responded immediately, came out to my house as soon as I could meet them there, and did a very thorough walk-through, supplying new ideas when I wanted them but being budget conscious the entire time. Communication has been strong, and we have been in touch constantly throughout the project, including through receiving frequent pictures of the progress and having an open door for questions. They were willing to work on my schedule -- meeting me after hours and on weekends. They have also done everything on my wish list -- from building a new bathroom from scratch, building shelves and counters in the kitchen, fixing the kitchen ceiling, drywalling and resealing a wall to remove a random door, installing a garbage disposal, and repainting several rooms -- all in two and a half weeks. That was ahead of schedule. They have also been courteous in the house the full time, cleaning up as they go. This has far exceeded my expectations, and I could not be happier with the work they have done and the dedication they have shown to quality."
