"David at Backshore Home Improvements was fantastic. Our job was a challenge because we live out on an island yet David made it work and it all went smoothly. The deck was large - 40' x 15' and it's a thing of beauty now! He and his crew were very helpful and professional and worked really hard and long hours to get the project done for us on schedule. He cleaned up the job site every night which we really appreciated and he removed all the old decking - which was above and beyond - when living on an island. Our deck is gorgeous, we love it and we loved working with him and his crew. Will definitely hire him again for other jobs and referred it to others on the island looking for deck or construction projects. TWO THUMBS UP!!"

"L&B Services did a tear down and rebuild of an old deck. They really know how to build a solid deck with poured cement footings, sauna tubes, and sturdy lumber. Bob was very good at keeping us informed of the work to be done and the timeline. The deck was done on time. It is a large deck (30x12) with 3 sets of stairs, dog gates, and skirting. The end result was a sturdy deck that will last for decades. Very easy and personable group to work with."

"At our first meeting (after interviewing 3 others) Greg laid out the plan for the deck replacement and after 15 minutes I knew he was a competent, detail oriented contractor. During this project he broke down the staggered payments and communicated every day of the project through texts and showing up in person. Greg took charge in overseeing everything like a platoon leader in the field by maintaining the flow of construction resulting in a smooth, exceptional conclusion. Part of the old deck was problematic. He examined every inch where there were issues and was able to overcome some difficulty and see what I couldn't.
