They worked on our job for a long time and they were professional from the minute they got here to the minute they left. They encapsulated our crawl space and it looks so so good. They cleaned up the yard and everything so well there was not even a tiny piece of material left. We would recommend the company and these installers to anyone which is rare anymore! "The employees that arrived to do the work were good workers. They were either unaware of the contracted work or mislead. They were not going to install the J Channel per the service agreement, and they had planned to backfill the ditch with the earth they had removed. The contract called for the ditch to be filled to surface with gravel. The installers called the office and explained that a J Channel was agreed on and someone from the office delivered it to satisfy my request. They were going to install the J Channel in segments vs one solid piece across the length of the ditch. I told them the segment seems would allow the water to get thru the J Channel and weep thru our foundation once more. They did the work as I requested but had I not been there or had I been a customer that did not know any better, this job would not have been done correctly or as agreed upon in the contract."

It was very tight and tricky to get a machine in, but he managed with no problems. Would definitely recommend going forward."

"The master bath had to be completely gutted to the studs. It was redesigned to include a double vanity, large walk-in shower and private toilet area. The demolition crew shrink-wrapped the stairs leading to the second floor and cut 2 large pieces of the bedroom carpet which was being replaced to cover the wood flooring outside the bedroom to prevent damage. They removed everything from ceiling to floor and cleaned and vacuumed when they finished for the day. Each contractor that came into the house worked with the same care. They kept the bedroom door closed to keep dust from entering the rest of the house. They consulted with us to ensure where things were being placed met with our approval. They were all polite and respectful. It was obvious that each tradesman was proud of his work. We had a piece of stained glass we wanted inserted into the closet door with a transom above it for light. They took a flush door, inserted the glass and framed panels on it to give the same design as the rest of the doors in the room. From our initial contact with Tom who evaluated the job and worked up the quote to the final payment we can only say good things. Tom was always accessible. There was someone here working on the job nearly every day with just a few exceptions and the estimate was right in the ballpark at completion. We are so happy we chose Burke Construction, LLC and would recommend them 100%."

"Mr. John O. arrived on time and alerted me prior to his coming by phone. John went around the basement and inspected the walls and windows for moisture penetration, and signs of deterioration. He listened to my concerns and wrote a report and recommended an indoor french drain installation based on his professional judgment of the situation.
I received the report with a schematic of my basement and his assessment as a pdf on email. He included a detailed estimate for the work proposed.
I feel that I got a report and an hour of evaluation for $49 and it is fair.

"Excellent wish all my contractors came out this good.  showed up for the estimate on time and had a video that showed the steps to fix the basement.  measured  the basement and made up contract.  when I mentioned angies list and deals offered we built it right into contract without printing coupons and stuff. were quick with availability came out the following week.  foreman (Dan) was on time and double checked everything before starting .Wanted to move sump pump and outside drain to a less used area. not a PROBLEM. Was loud and cold in the house all day as if you run the furnace while they work it comes through the vents.  laid out carpet protectors and were done in only 1 day (the estimator planned 2)  Jackhammered the floor out and dug down to foundation laid new drains and installed new sump pump. they brought 5 people and they all worked hard constantly for the day.  lost track of all the buckets after 30 (5 gal. buckets).removed with old crap.  Explained all the warranties and paperwork with new sump pump.  Have to wait for the concrete to dry. it's now 3 days later and I'm ready to put the basement back together.  Looks great and can't wait to use the basement without wet and damp floors and walls furnace)  did forget to put screen back in basement window but if you have leaky walls and damp floors this is nice.  any problems after the next big rain I'll let ya's know.
