"I do not know the quality of their sun rooms. I suppose they are good, but I have no proof. I am down-grading the overall grade because I was misled by the person I spoke with on the telephone. I kept repeatedly asking her if the company did decks, and she repeatedly said they did. I also told her that I did not want to waste anyone's time by having someone come to the house to give me an estimate to only find out that they did not do decks. When the people got here, they informed me that they did not do decks. I had specifically asked the sales representative on the telephone if they did decks (and not just sun rooms) and she insisted that they did. The representatives who came to the house told me that the telephone sales reps get paid if a site visit is made - it was therefore in their interest to say what ever it took to get the visit made. By insisting that they build decks, I agreed to have them come to my house. I was very satisfied by the people who actually came to the house. If I had been looking to add on a sun room I certainly would have been willing to work with them. They were apologetic and said they would look into the problem. However, if you are NOT looking for a sun room and are ONLY looking for a deck, call someone else."

"I was referred to Arnolds by a co-worker. It started off well but by the end of the remodel, I was less than satisfied. The tiling on the wall was no level throughout the rooms. Some tiles were sticking out away from the wall and many were not flush with other tiles. How can some tiles fit flush and others not...on the same wall? I got a run around answer but....was never offered to fix and make better. During the remodel I asked the lead worker if he would ask his boss about the additional cost for putting up a light fixture and quarter round around the wall and floor juncture. Rather than contacting his boss he said he would do the work for a "good tip". I agreed and did give a nice tip. 3 to 4 weeks have past, he has still not come back to complete the agreed upon work. I can't even call or text because the number is now a non working number. At the end of the remodel, I had to wipe down the tiles to remove mortar and compound from the wall. Learn from my mistake and I hope your experience is better than mine."
