"We had vinyl replacement windows and sliding doors replace in our Arizona townhome, 14 windows, 3 of which were large custom shape, and 2 sliding doors. Power has an exclusive window with Pella. The windows and doors were available 3 days early and scheduled the installation 2 days early. All completed in one long day. The 5-man crew was very efficient and skilled. The foreman Pedro was great, communicated everything and asked questions, came up with some final finishing solutions and made sure everything was right. The only negative might be the slightly "caulked" appearance of the final product but it was well done. I think this is the compromise of a replacement window and for the price point was the right decision for this property. I could feel and hear the difference in heat gain and noise insulation immediately compared to the original single pane windows."

"We had purchased a 100 year old house with a slate roof. Though at first we thought we had a few years left, we quickly discovered multiple leaks. Other companies would only replace it, but Robert's suggested that a repair was possible -- offering a contract that would repair all damaged slate that they found including damaged underlayment (but not structure). This allowed us to keep the historic look of the house intact. Their bidding process was the most professional we saw -- they used a drone to evaluate the roof, and as we moved towards signing a foreman came out to evaluate the roof directly and ensure they would have enough material to complete the work (which did revise the bid slightly). It was always easy to get someone knowledgeable on the phone. While the work was underway the crew was very professional. The site was impeccably clean every day after they left. During the work, they did discover several rafters had failed necessitating emergency structural repairs. These were completed and the roof was watertight before they left for the day. Obviously this is a highly stressful situation for a homeowner, but they demonstrated a zen-like level of calm and focus that was extremely comforting. They also introduced us to a contractor to help complete some plaster patching that needed to be done inside where they had installed temporary supports. There was also much more damaged slate than they had originally anticipated -- approximately half of the total roof. However, they kept their commitment to take the burden of the overage, and we paid exactly what was quoted, plus a comparably modest sum for the unanticipated structural repairs. Likewise, they came back with no questions asked to resolve a minor issue we found a few weeks after the work completed. Though no project of this scope is without issues, Robert's went above and beyond my expectations to deliver a solid repair and demonstrated that they are committed to customer happiness."

My initial call was returned within the first few hours and the painting estimate was provided in writing within two days.  Incredibly professional. However, the painting bid was $20,000 for exterior painting and minor wood repair only -- back to the same colors.  I had several other bids and the highest of those was $10,000 less than the Ultimate Custom bid.  The work may be high quality but there is no way it could be twice as good as the second high bidder (who is also highly rated here on Angie's list).  Needless to say, we went with someone else.  I would recommend getting several bids before using these guys.
