"We have hired Paul and his team for several projects in the past several years, most recently for a kitchen remodel. He is professional, honest, the work is done to a high standard and we trust his judgment. He has replaced our windows, remodeled our kitchen and bathrooms, remodeled our bedroom , built a new deck and made cedar siding to match existing cedar siding on our home perfectly. We highly recommend him."

"Ryan was awesome to work with. Punctual--called each day before he came. Not only did he come in exactly as quoted--he deducted for two chairs because they didn't take him as long as he thought. He was methodical and meticulous. I would (will) definitely use him again!"

"Great all around. If you use this company ask that Jesus Munoz be assigned to manage the job. He handled a large and complicated roofing project with complete competence and professionalism. He regularly consulted with us on an ongoing basis and we appreciated his suggestions and advice on troubling issues like being sure our skylights were properly installed. The company sent a crew that made it possible to finish the job in only two days and leave our property cleaner than it was when they arrived."

"Building a new home was an overwhelming undertaking, but Chris guided us through it with both kindness and professionalism. We had a clear budget, but also wanted high quality construction. Halvorson Mason patiently answered many questions and worked with us when we needed to adjust plans based on COVID supply chain issues and inflated prices. Chris was easy to communicate with and took time to dialogue about different choices and pros and cons with every detail of the project. His team, especially the painting team, did excellent work and helped us get just the right colors throughout the house. We are extremely happy with the finished home. It is beautiful, snug, sturdy and designed to make the most of our land, views and interior space. High quality work throughout! I have no regrets about choosing Halvorson Mason to work with on such an enormous investment. Thank you, Chris and team!"

"We hired DeMarco for a quick repair of our wood fence that fell down in a wind storm. Diego and Andres did a superb job matching the new section of fence with the rest of it. They showed up on time, performed high quality work, cleaned up promptly, and were transparent with pricing. Communication with the crew and Joe DeMarco was very easy via text and phone. I appreciate DeMarco's honest opinion on how to approach this project. He took the time to understand my situation, goals, and budget. I highly recommend hiring DeMarco, and they have quickly proved themselves to have a lifetime customer here."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Lincoln City, OR

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
