"My 97 year old mother-in-law was given an outrageous estimate to repair or replace her 65 year old bathroom sink from another plumbing company. I contacted Kevin at Green Tech and found out that he is familiar with her classic Crane sink. On their first visit, it was determined that the repair parts for that sink would be very expensive, and a replacement sink was suggested. Kevin went above and beyond to find a sink/faucet combination that complimented her 1950's motive. He worked with my mother-in-law to keep the price within her budget. The installer did a very professional job. My mother-in-law is very pleased with how closely the sink matches the other bathroom fixtures. "Dom came out to look at the sink. He let me know it would need to be rodded, but the pipe itself was very rusted and may need to be replaced. He tried he best to find a way to get the sink fixed that day without needing to replace anything. Unfortunately the sink is done. He was able to get a technician available right away for tomorrow to start the process of replacement. Very pleased with how this was handled."

"Matt and I discussed the potential work over the phone, and he was able to give me an accurate estimate of cost, so I gave him the go-ahead to do the work.  He arrived on time with an assistant and got started right away.  In all, the work to strip and finish the tub took about 4 hours, as Matt told me to expect.  I believe drying time was 24 hours.
The results are terrific.  The tub looks good as new - shiny and bright  As an added bonus, the bottom of the tub is textured, meaning I no longer have to mess with a plastic bathmat. 
The tub is original to the home and, over time, the stopper in the drain disappeared.  I bought the home several years ago and have had to use a rubber stopper in order to fill the tub.  You know the know kind...a white rubber stopper complete with a chain.  Matt turned me onto a company who sell a cool fix for that problem.  I ordered a new drain, in the finish of my choice, that glued right on top of the existing drain (with a built in adhesive) including an integrated pop-up stopper and a strainer.  I bought a 2 piece set that included an overflow to match the drain and the total cost was around $50.  Thanks for that tip Matt!

"I can no longer recommend John.  
He helped us in 2009 when we bought a condo from the first owner.  He fixed some leaking facets and installed some water filtration units.  We were very satisfied with his work and promptness at the time.  We felt the yelp 5 stars he had at the time were justified.
The trouble started when it was time for him to come and replenish the filtration compound on one of the units he had installed.  We spent a couple of weeks trying to fix an appointment.  He simply forgot about one of the appointments and rescheduled us twice (once for a family emergency.)  When we finally got him to come, he apologize and said that he was not going to charge us for the refill and that he would be back soon with our canister.  He left a temporary replacement.  John also noticed that our kitchen sink was falling down because the developer had not mounted it to the granite without enough supports and offered to re-install it correctly for a reasonable cost.  We accepted the offer, so when we returned with the filter canister, we had him to the re-install (which took several phone calls and text to arrange.  
John failed to mention that he was going to use PVC pipe to prop up the sagging sink instead fixing it to the granite with more metal supports.  John did a bad job of putting in the silicone barrier between the granite and sink, so water splashes started to leak into the cabinet below the sink.  The worst part of this is that the biggest silicone hole was directly on top of the PVC at the front of the cabinet, so the water was leaking down the middle of the pipe invisibly and causing damage to the wood bottom.  When I contact John about this issue, he said in a text back that he would have to see it for himself and that is the last correspondence we have had from.  Tired of wasting our time trying to get his attention and fix appointments we spent this morning removing all of his moldy, dirty, half complete silicone and are redoing the job correctly ourselves.  
My personal opinion is that he is too busy and can't manage his thriving business (he has more than one work crew) while doing the work himself.  He tries to rely on text messages, but often forgets to update his schedule or contact book, so asks for the same message again and again... and still manages to miss appointments.
