"I had gotten quotes from different flooring companies and the other 2 companies both said a subfloor needed to be placed prior to installing the expensive top of the line LVP. Hillers was adamant that I did not need a subfloor due to the high quality flooring I was purchasing from them. First problem was they left a 1/3" gap between two pieces and left it. Looks horrible for a $5,000 job. 2nd the floor was floating in certain areas due to not having a subfloor laid first. the last straw was the flooring is separating in areas, and they claim it is due to the house settling (UM this is normal so why wouldn't we do something PRIOR to laying the floor to avoid this issue!) and suggestion to fix it is to rip everything up, lay down a subfloor and then put in a new floor. All at cost to me. They take no fault even though I have it in email that they said NOT to lay a subfloor but now a subfloor is the answer. I have to take them to court. NEVER WILL USE THEM AGAIN!"

"I ordered a counter top and one piece came in damaged and the other was cut to the wrong length. They replaced the damaged piece but expect me to pay for the other, pay a 25% restocking fee to return it or cut it to the right length myself or pay a contractor to do it. I will also have to by an end cap for the miss cut piece. My parents had a similar incident with them as well. Horrible experience, Horrible customer service. Would never recommend and will never do business with them again."
