"My crawlspace was wet, moldy, and just nasty. The insulation was soaking wet and it smelled awful. I called five different companies to come out and give me quotes on what they thought needed to be done. I had quotes all over the board ranging from $7,000 all the way up to $48,000. "We were in the middle of moving, we were selling the house that we were in and closing on a new home and there was some moisture found in the basement. This owner was great! We had called other different companies and because of our limited time frame (closing on a house), he was the only one that could come out right away. "Ken was very knowledgeable about our problems.  We asked him about several issues; some needed fixing and some did not.  I respect his opinions.  Our major issue was a two story wall that was sagging because it was built between floor joists.  We had an extra joist and supports installed.  The workmen were courtious and effecient.  Our floor feels very stable now.

They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. It took them a couple of days to do the work. They took care of all the cleanup as well. We've been real happy with them."

"I contacted Jeff Davis regarding several items needing attention on a home I was placing on the market. Items included repairing the ridge cap on the roof, repairing metal facia, repairing cap rail, gate and resealing large exterior deck, painting ceilings in the house, repair drywall cracks, replace two doors, repaint or stain all exterior doors, tile front porch and entryway & other small items. My only recommendation would be to have multiple small jobs listed and priced as separate line items on the contact. Makes mods or deletions (which will happen) easier to follow.
