"PERFECT! Periodically I get lucky and fine "Just the right person for the job!" Chris Peterson and his associates were just that! And my wife and I could not be happier or more pleased with the results! To describe the folks from Custom Deckworks would require more descriptive adjectives than the dictionary holds. Sufice it to say they were Polite AND Courteous, Efficient AND Professional, Expeditious and Fast WITHOUT being sloppy. Overall I must say they were the VERY FINEST examples of the true Professional Builder I've ever met in my 71 years while being EXPERTS in Human Relations! I highly recommend Custom Deckworks to one and all for jobs large or small! Take the time to meet with Chris and the guys. You'll be glad you did!"

"It went perfectly. I called and spoke to the office immediately. They came out the next day on a Sunday prepared to give an estimate and complete the job. Everything is done. They performed quality work with quality products, very professional, clean-cut, honest, efficient, fair price. We are very happy and highly recommend them."

"The crew always showed up on time ready to work. They did very professional work. We had already hired them to put new granite counter tops in our kitchen, so knew we could depend on them to do a good job. Once the job was started, they worked every day until it was finished. We are so pleased with the finished product. It looks like a picture you would see in a decorator's magazine."

"We didn't use them mainly because it was $25,000.00. The process was great. He was very professional. Our house is so unique that only their most expensive line would work here and $25,000.00 to replace the door is just a little more than we could really justify spending. We have French doors along the back of the house that are all starting to rot because they are interior doors rather than exterior doors. He was very punctual and professional. They sent us the quote by e-mail. They were great. He was very attentive to the details of the project."

"From start to finish, Eric made sure that he knew exactly what I wanted. He and his Dad completed the job as promised. The quality of their work is outstanding and the pride they take in their craftsmanship is evident by the attention they paid to the smallest detail. All debris and work related materials was cleaned up once the job was done."

"Owner Chuck Rook visited our house to discuss the repairs and improvements needed and show us photos of similar work he had completed for other clients. He quickly got back to us with a quote, and also included an extensive list of references for us to call. One of the important reasons we selected him to do the work was his promise to work only on our job until it was completed, rather than juggle our job with other concurrent jobs as many home contractors do. We also sensed from the beginning an aesthetic awareness on his part, a real pride in his work and a desire to do things the right way. <br /> Once we agreed for him to do the work, Chuck met with us at a home improvement store to select tile and other items needed for the project. Both there and throughout the project, he seemed to go out of his way to help us minimize costs, pointing out relative material costs and options for saving money, where possible. <br /> Chuck parked a white trailer containing his equipment and supplies in our driveway and made arrangements for a large trash container to be left in front of our house during the project. He delayed the start of our project by one day in order to complete his work for the client before us. Once he started the project, Chuck and his assistant, David, showed up when they said they would, and worked quickly, efficiently and steadily until they reached a logical breaking point in mid- or late afternoon. On one day, they skipped lunch in order to complete some work in our kitchen so that we could use it again. We had other contractors working at part of the same time, and Chuck and David worked well with them, even assisting them at times to do things like carry in a heavy countertop. <br /> Throughout the project, we found Chuck to be conscientious, honest and easy to work with. We felt comfortable leaving him working in our home while we were out. He is resourceful, an excellent craftsman and problem solver, and skilled at many tasks. He anticipates needs and communicates well, calling us as needed to discuss decisions or to let us know if he would be late. He also has a good sense of humor, a plus in any working relationship. <br /> Overall, we were very pleased with the work done, and would recommend KC Development to anyone needing bathroom, kitchen or other home renovation work done. <br /> <br />"

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in Little Rock, AR

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
