"When I decided to get new siding for my house, I had a two-page list of other items I wanted to address besides replacing the siding. My list included removing the brick skirt in front, squaring off the garage door opening, removing unnecessary gable vents, installing new storm doors, and replacing a side door into the garage with a window. When Jesse Avery arrived to discuss the siding estimate, I think he was a little surprised by the list of additional work. We walked through all the items on the list and Jesse took notes and measurements, saying he’d need to work with his boss to come up with an estimate that included all the extra work. When I received the final estimate, I was happy with the detailed cost breakdown and reasonable grand total. I also liked the type of siding they used, Charter Oak, since it was higher quality than other brands I’d looked at and offered many more color options. So, I happily accepted the proposal. From the start of the project, Jesse was great about staying in touch with me about any changes or issues. I was having trouble deciding on a siding color, which is a daunting task when you realize your whole house will be that color! Jesse worked with the siding vendor to get addresses of buildings that used the siding colors I was considering so I could see how they looked before I made my final choice. After deciding on a color, Jesse provided a mock-up illustration of my house in the new color, and I knew I’d made the right selection. Once the siding work began, I was amazed by how fast the job went. The siding crew arrived by 7 AM every day and stayed until it started getting dark, taking time to clean up the site at the end of every day. The crew was outstanding, working very hard and reaching out to Jesse quickly whenever they found any issues uncovered by removing the old materials so the project could stay on track. As a result, the job was done in five days! My neighbors have given me a thumbs up on my new blue house, and contractors working on other projects for the house have also commented on the excellent quality of the work. "High Tech recently re-brownstoned the co-op that I live in on 83rd Street and did an amazing job.  The price that we got from High Tech was about half of what we were quoted from the next lowest bidder, but the work ended up being so beautiful that people walking by our building are stopping to take photos.  High Tech reconstructed all of the old brownstone details that had been worn off and totally lost over the years.  These guys were artisans and asked me for very old photos of the building, which they used to re-create the designs of the building details.  It took a bit longer than I expected but It turned out so great!!!  I never expected that they could bring our building back to it's former glory, especially given the reasonable price.   Come walk by and take a look.
A couple of years ago High Tech had done our stairs, which also came out beautiful.  They got the detail right on that too.  The brownstone stairs look so nice, they have rounded edges like the most expensive brownstones have.  But again High Tech's price was the most reasonable of the bidders.  The have also done some other smaller jobs for us such as re-pointing and again I was very satisfied with both the quality of the work and with the price.
Oh, I almost forgot.  The electric company did some work on our block and chipped tiny bits off of the new stairs and High Tech came and repaired it at no cost.  I was very impressed with that since it totally above and beyond.

"It was great. He did a really good job, and he was on time and cleaned up afterwards, And he even did a little extra for me.

I thought the price was fair. The quality was very good. It was just 1 person and it took between 7 and 8 hours. He cleaned up everything, swept everything, as a matter of fact, I had to tell him to stop, that I would finish up. 

In my opinion, the best thing he did was the actual repairing the wall, recaulking the wall. He had to recaulk it a couple of times. Then he sanded it in between. He couldn't sand the last time because it was still wet, so I did that.
