"Mostly this is a critique of what Titan offered to do to get rid of our rat problems.  It was obvious in the house that the prior owners had done "rat proofing" in the attic.  Screening and flashing was in place.  However our problem was not in the attic, it was in the basement.  Titan wanted to set rat poison outside and use traps to catch them in the basement.  He did not think he could find the place where they were coming in.  He also suggested additional flashing along the gutters for $1000+
 I did not like that answer and proceeded to call other companies.  The company I picked found the entrance the rats were using, and then sealed every crack around the foundation that they could get in.  We caught the rats inside the house within one week, and we are rat free.  No poison used.
