"My husband's new job required us to move out-of-state and our home needed work in order for it to be competitive in this tough housing market. Based on the recommendation of our realtor, I called "Interior Surfaces". While their primary focus is to get to get homes market ready, I do believe if you wanted work done in your house even if it is not up for sale, it could be arranged. What was wonderful about this service is that this company does just about everything which makes it like "one-stop shopping". My appointment was with Interior Designer Stephanie Derr-Briggs. She brought samples of paint, carpeting, flooring and lighting books for me to review. She listened to what I was looking for, my budget and made suggestions and recommendations. A gentleman by the name of Tom accompanied her and took measurements. Within a few days of the appointment, she e-mailed me a proposal of everything that had been discussed keeping my budget in mind. Although landscaping is not normally an area the company gets involved with, Stephanie pleasantly surprised me by including it within the quote. She actually found someone to do the work I felt was needed outside. After a few revisions, the contract was signed and work began after our move. What was terrific was that I did not have to be present to oversee the project--Stephanie and crew took care of everything. Their painter/handy man Rod was incredible. He is a perfectionist and does amazing work. The job was completed within a few days of the target date. Everything looked SO good that my husband and I wanted to move back in! This fairy tale has a very happy ending. Thanks to the fantastic work done by the crew at "Interior Surfaces", our house sold within 30 days of being on the market. Needless to say, my husband and I could not be more pleased!"

She was knowledgeable in many areas regarding event planning from ordering invitations, table arrangements, flowers, decorations, and managing the details. Her suggestions were catered to our desires. Her experience is vast and she used her knowledge to make the event everything we wanted it to be. "Home Source Interiors was hired to come to my home to dry clean 2 large and heavy drape panels. When Ron and Jeff arrived (on time) they first gave me an estimate and I agreed to the price. They brought their dry cleaning equipment in and started working right away. They moved furniture out of the way and were very careful not to disturb any of my belongings. They were finished in about 2 hours -- they moved the furniture back where it belonged and cleaned up as if they were never here."

She is personable and patient.  It was a pleasure to work with her. <br /> I started with a one hour consultation.  That charge is then deducted when you order.  I had sent her pictures of the areas we were to discuss, so she arrived ready with fabric books, possible swatches marked, and blind samples.  When I did not care for a certain direction or color look, she was quick to rethink and offer other suggestions.  I was picky.  She was patient.  I had vague ideas of what I did and did not want in a window treatment.  She was able to offer creative suggestions and sketch out the ideas. <br /> The window treatment is gorgeous.  It pulls together the entire room, and I enjoy it every time I walk in the room. I was able to purchase higher quality blinds with a better warranty than I had before at a regular home-improvement store.  I also really appreciated that Melinda and her assistant install everything themselves--quality service and installation."
