Customers say: Terrific value

"Received several bids and we liked his ideas the best. He was prompt, arrived when he stated he would and the job was completed when he said it would be. We absolutely love the addition to our deck. And was so satisfied with the work we?ve hired him for another project. "

Customers say: Quick response

"Tom and his crew at Dreamline were a pleasure to work with. This was a very challenging time to get home repairs done due to covid restrictions and supply shortages. The crew was reliable and at work when expected. Tom communicates regularly and adjusts to required changes with a positive, can do attitude. They definitely take pride in their work and strive for customer satisfaction. Its easy to work with honest, straight forward people."

"Stan and his crew did a beautiful, thorough, clean and detailed job rebuilding our 14x30 ft deck. He walked us through the whole process in buying trek, what to look out for and he did such a great job that my neighbors across the street hired him for their deck. Stan has done so many projects around our house (remodeled bathroom, replaced door wall, front door, replaced some of our siding and so much more) and we’ve been so pleased with everything he’s touched, it’s a no brained we let him do our deck too. You’ll never be disappointed. He doesn’t change the price on you mid project and he’s very reliable and always finishes when he says he will."

"Very good people to work with I am an old guy and get cranky with poor service. To start with they answer, their phone and the young lady you deal with is very knowledgeable and very helpful. Jeff gets back to you very quickly showed up as scheduled we went over the project and they got back to me with an estimate in a very timely manner. Came time to do the job and they were on time and on task very professional every step of the way they were fun to work with , decent people with a good amount of skills and capabilities. I would use them again in a second matter fact I am going to use them again for a little project and probably other things in the future highly recommend them."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Longview, WA

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
