"Randy Lane has skilled plumbers and a well-organized office staff. The plumber arrived at the pre-arranged day & time and fixed the two sinks. The plumber looked at the corroded sections of pipe that I pointed out and stated that his opinion was that replacing those would not significantly increase water pressure in the house. I appreciate the honest opinion.

"I purchased the Angie's List $99 faucet install deal.  Vincent replied to the email within 24 hours.  I set up the appointment for less than a week later.  He ran a little late on a previous appointment and got caught in traffic, but the job was completed by the end of the business day.  The new faucet works great.  Vincent installed as described and did a good job.  I would use him again.  Thanks!

"I found water damage in the morning and after considerable investigation, determined that it was from a pinhole leak in a water pipe in the basement.  I had to turn off the main water valve to stop the leak, so I needed to repair this quickly.  I have used Burkhardt Plumbing before with success, so I called them again.  They were able to come that afternoon ( I called around noon) and Dean arrived within the promised time slot. 



He fixed the leak, and also advised me that it was probably due to insulation around the pipe which was held in place by small wires.  The insulation around the wire itself was decaying (probably installed 40 years ago) and could have caused an electrostatic charge (?) between the two metals which would corrode the copper pipe.  I appreciated this extra information, so that I can remove the rest of the insulation and prevent future leaks (the insulation was put on to prevent condensation and is no longer necessary).   I thought the cost of the repair was fair.

The estimate was accurate and price more than fair for a job that required a lot of awkward places to get into to find the real root of the problem. Jim came to advise us after we purchased the house to estimate what it would take to plumb the kitchen and two bathrooms.  He told us how he would run vent pipes to ensure safety and legal issues were addressed.  The house was vacant, and he did some of the infrastructure work early in the project and came back a couple of months later to do the final work.  We have worked with Jim before, and appreciate his honest assessment of alternatives including cost.  He does good work, and we have always passed all of our inspections.  Jim is versatile and can work with high-end surfaces and dig into the dirt below the basement floor if necessary.  He's an ethical and honest person, and we feel we get great value for our investment.
