Communication was outstanding. I always knew what was planned for each day and what to expect in terms of timeframes. They cleaned up before leaving each day to minimize the disruption. Steve was always readily available to answer any questions. As a result, I have a beautiful kitchen. I couldn't be more pleased."

"Looking for a company to work with on some major and minor house renovations and repairs, I found Two by Four Construction through a special on Angie?s list.  I was contacted immediately and Gary came out to review my list of projects and discuss what could be completed and helped me develop a list of any other items needed for purchase before the renovations/repairs. Gary was incredibly helpful and positive and we set up a date for two weeks hence.
Two members of Gary?s team, Ralph and Bethany, arrived promptly at 7:30 as scheduled; we reviewed the work to be done and they immediately laid drop clothes to cover the rug and tile areas for traffic.  Their work style and manner were impeccable.
Bethany, Tile Lady Extraordinaire, discussed the project before starting and made sure she knew exactly what I wanted.  She was incredibly knowledgeable and had the best ideas to offer -- some of which we used in the project.  Bethany tiled and grouted my kitchen backslash and replaced the electrical plates, smoothed out a rough patch of drywall at the backsplash site, and replaced the kitchen blinds.  She was methodical and patient; her work was precise, neat and beautiful.  I couldn?t have asked for more. 
The handymen replaced numerous light fixtures and water faucets, installed a vent cover, and repaired a storm door frame which had not closed or locked properly for several years. 
I was so pleased with the completed projects, the standard of the work, as well as the professional demeanor of Two by Four Construction?s employees.  I will use them again in the future.

"My husband and I hired Jose and his team to build a uniquely styled detached 600 square foot garage in the spring of 2018 and then in the winter of 2019, Jose and his team returned and completely renovated the outside of our house (see above for details). In addition, they renovated a 600 sq. foot roughed in back two rooms of our house with an extension. For both projects, we were extremely pleased with the quality of the work and the final outcome. Both projects were somewhat complicated and challenging in both design and permit requirements, but in each case, Jose and his team, with great capability overcame all obstacles and produced the outcome we wanted. His team was professional, on time, focused, and very friendly. Their craftmanship was exceptional. They were creative and talented artists. Nothing was done in a sloppy manner. It was evident to me that they took great pride in their work. As an extra bonus, at the end of each day, they cleaned up the work area. The contractor Jose was extraordinary in every possible way. He was extremely personable, answered all of our questions with patience, and produced solutions to the questions and ideas that we had. We really appreciated the guidance and suggestions he provided. For example, first he suggested in-ceiling lighting and then smaller lights than we originally had in mind. Both suggestions created a spectacular look! His team also rebuilt our out-dated and rotting round front porch pillars into large square pillars from scratch. They were not pre-fab. They raised our back room roof 5 inches and had to dig under the current slab and add concrete along the entire base next to the pilings that were already there. They came up with a creative way to do this given that there was no room to insert the cement truck pipe. He also arranged with our power company to come and turn off our electricity while they replaced the siding on the side with the power lines. Jose and his team did many extras for us, some asked for by us and some that Jose thought of himself. Home renovations are normally stressful but honestly, both our garage and exterior/backroom renovations were an enjoyable and a mostly stress-free experience. Our next plan is to have Jose and his team renovate the inside of our house which will include wall removals, new bathrooms, new kitchen, flooring, wall repair/painting and many smaller changes. One more thing to add: Jose’s pricing was fair and reasonable. We highly recommend Munoz Construction company. I have no doubt that you will be pleased."

"This was definitely a 5 star operation from the initial discussions to the finishing touches! For a major renovation and upgrade to our master bathroom we reviewed potential contractors and their customer comments. VKB stood out. Our VKB designer Sean clearly has artistic talent and lots of design experience. He patiently worked with us, showing us 3D design options as we considered alternative configurations and materials. When we were satisfied with the design, Sean transitioned us smoothly to the build phase, introducing Jason as our project manager and Walter as our crew chief. Sean personally familiarized Jason with the project, inviting us to share our thoughts and any concerns. During the renovation, Walter and his crew would carefully isolate the MBR work from the rest of the house, sealing off the room and path to the front door with plastic barriers and floor coverings every morning and remove them every evening. Everyone was polite and sensitive to our living space. Jason was responsive to our wishes to refine several design aspects as the work proceeded, and Walter and his crew smoothly made the alterations. After the main construction was completed Jason remained very attentive to our ‘punch list’ of remaining details and our questions until all had been resolved. Walter ensured very high-quality work down to the finest detail. All the work from design to completion was well within the timeframe we had hoped. In the end, we have a beautiful MBR well beyond our original expectations!"

"I highly, highly recommend Stephen and his company, Capstone Remodeling for any home renovation need -- big or small, complicated or straight-forward. Stephen sincerely cares about you and your project, and is committed to getting it done right, and done on time. Stephen is a great communicator, via email, phone, text, and video chat--which is so key to a successful renovation project. He is considerate, patient, accessible, receptive, personable, detail-oriented, and caring. When we were still living out-of-state, we hired him from afar to do some projects before we moved into our house. He worked aggressively to meet our "move-in" deadline. He often would video call me to get my input on various stages of projects, and also just to update me on how things were progressing. He even video called me once just to give me a personal tour of our garden I had not yet seen, and all the flowers that were in bloom, which meant so much to me. I wholeheartedly trust Stephen; he quickly became like family. Since we've moved into our house, I've consulted him and hired him back for additional projects. Once I called him just to seek his counsel on needed modifications to our slide-in gas range cut-out, to accommodate a new range, and after our video chat where we talked it through, he had one of his guys out the next day to further scope it out. Then, Stephen stopped by not too long thereafter to take care of us--again, meeting a crucial deadline we were facing for the range installation. I look forward to hiring him back, again and again over the coming years."

"The All Renovations team, led by Tony, did a fantastic job. The first two days had 4 people working to dismantle my bathroom, and then for the days of cutting tile, had 2 people at all times. They worked quickly, and hard, from 9am till sometimes 7pm. Master bath was done in 9 working days. This company handles labor and construction materials, while the client handle purchasing of most renovation materials like the tile, vanity, fixtures, tub, and toilet. For those who want to have direct control over the materials, and the cost, this is the way to go. I was onsite each day, and would give some direction (which they always closely followed) like how I wanted the tiles, which grout goes with which tiles, and that I wanted an additional light switch because I added a chandelier to the room. I've already decided to have the team back to construct a half bath."

"I highly recommend City Renovations and Remodeling to new and experienced homeowners and investors. In fact, Mike Wiggs, owner of the company, was highly recommended to me from a trusted source. Mike has been my designer, general contractor and project manager for over three years. He and his team of subcontractors for all the trades and handymen have successfully completed numerous projects for me. The internal big jobs included Mike and his team remodeling my basement into a permitted apartment with an egress window, injection well system, and recessed lighting; remodeling my kitchen into a larger space, better layout and upgraded appliances, cabinets, backsplashes (e.g., switching from an electric cooktop island to a slide-in gas range and installing a peninsula); changing the location of the sliding door and a set of windows in my sunroom for better flow and sightline from the front door entry to the patio door leading to my wooded backyard; replacing the damaged one of the two HVAC systems (i.e., one for the first floor and basement and the other for the second floor); and whole house interior painting and decorative touches (accent walls, trim, etc.) The external big jobs included Mike and his team resolving the sources of severe water damage to my two-story front door entry area and installing a new door, side lites and stoop. He resolved other water problems at my house by installing upgraded, larger gutters connecting to a new underground drainage system, and re-grading a section of the backyard next to my house in order to better collect water coming onto the house and move it away from the house. The other jobs Mike and his team completed include installing decorative lighting in the front of my house and security lighting at the sides and back; installing and repairing wooden privacy fencing in my backyard; washing away years of mold, mildew and stains from the siding of my house; and installing shelving for two closets and the laundry room to increase my storage space. After years of City Renovations and Remodeling successfully improving or repairing my home, I hired the company to help me with an investment rental property. Mike completed a walk-thru assessment and report to supplement the information from the home inspector and appraiser. Through my pre-purchase consultation with Mike, I got a good idea of what it would take improve the property given my goals and budget. "We used Sam to fully remodel our master bathroom and do some cosmetic work in our guest bathroom. We took down walls and started completely from scratch. Sam did all of the demolition, prep work, plumbing, electrical and installed some very intricate marble mosaic tile, for us on the floor of the bathroom and in the shower. Sam is punctual, responsive and extremely knowledgable about his craft. His men do incredible work when it comes to the finishes and he keeps a very clean workspace. All along the process Sam was present at the job and addressed any minor issues we had along the way immediately. You will not find any better bang for your buck in this area.
