"He was very polite to me and my children. He installed 2 shower heads for me and he unclogged one of my bath tubs for me. He was very professional as well. I will definitely call him in the future if I have any more issues. I highly recommend him if you have any plumbing needs. Plus he don't charge an arm and a leg like most companies do."

"I had a break in my main water service line (from the meter to the house). They attempted to perform the lowest-cost repair first (snaking a new line through the existing pipe); when that failed, they dug out a new line and installed PEX from the meter. The folks I worked with were professional and very good about keeping me in the loop about their work status. At all steps of the way, I felt like they were doing their best to do things the right way rather than the quickest; they took additional steps such as making sure the PEX mating to the house occurred inside (i.e., where it was accessible) and installed a new ball valve, which would save us considerably in the future if we had a failure again. Working with them, I had confidence that they were doing their best to do this repair in the least expensive way possible; it was only when circumstances proved prohibitive that they moved to the more expensive option (running the new line). They also made sure to set us up with a temporary repair when it was clear that there was going to be a delay getting the boring equipment to dig the new line; I really appreciated that they took the time to make sure we were taken care of."

"Matt took my call in early morning hours, moved his schedule to accommodate my need, quickly assessed the issue as minor, and let us off without a charge as no actual work was needed (just a tweak). He didn't charge for a service call or anything. Matt is polite and engaging--this was a great visit."

"We had some problems with the water heater I had not being just a plain old water heater but an expensive one with a different setup. It had busted and flooded my basement. Rather than replace it, Chris recommended for me to go with tankless because the installation costs about the same and tankless would be better for my needs. He had said he would install it that day. He did but it took longer than we thought but he stayed until the project was done. We still needed a part and he was back about 8:00 am the next morning and had it completely finished within 10 minutes with the correct part. He was a nice, hard-working man. This is an edit... He was great on this project. When I contacted him sometime after that for help on another plumbing project, we never got it done or even looked at it because he was busy doing another bigger project. Was disappointed. Had it repaired by someone else?"

FAQs for sewer main install, replace or repair projects in Loudon, TN

When installing a sewer line, you should consider extra costs like tree removal, driveway repairs, or patio resurfacing. Hiring a professional plumber is essential, and you may need additional specialists if landscaping or heavy excavation is involved. Addressing these potential extras up front helps ensure accurate budgeting and prevents sudden cost overruns.

To calculate the length of sewer piping you need, measure the distance from your house to the main sewer line, adding the depth of the city main to this distance. Be sure to account for any obstacles like tree roots or utility lines that may require additional piping.

City sewer lines are installed at a lower elevation to prevent unwanted backflow and water damage. This lower positioning ensures enhanced performance and long-term safety, meeting all technical and safety standards.

With trenchless methods, a plumber inserts a smaller pipe within the existing plumbing, avoiding full excavation. It can be more cost-effective and less disruptive than traditional methods, but it's not suitable for all homes.

Yes, you must secure permission from your local water authority before connecting to a public sewer line. This approval ensures your connection meets all regulatory requirements.

Sewer lines are buried between 18 inches and 8 feet deep, with most systems placed between 18 and 30 inches. In colder regions, pipes are set deeper to remain below the frost line.
