"Dave was wonderful to work with he responded to my request within 30 min of my and scheduled work with in 3 days of contact. The work was done within 3 weeks. He repaired some texture issues on the celling and it came out beautiful. We also have other projects planned in the coming months as well."

"I had a weird one-off project that I started as a DIYer and wanted professionally finished. Daniel picked up where I left off, fixed a few of my blunders, and finished the job exactly as I wanted it done. He was quick, efficient, and responsive. We agreed to terms and he performed the job within the budgeted envelope. The work performed was high quality and up to the standards I would expect from a professional. I had been held up on further progressing my project by the work and he unlocked my ability to move forward. Highly recommended for DIYers like me that want a professional touch to finish off their projects."

"Tammy is the owner of House of Faux. She was super to work with. She listened to us describe what we wanted and talked with us about what she would be able to do and made suggestions about the project. She was very flexible with her schedule to work around other workers doing other projects such as laying tile or installing granite counter tops. We are extremely pleased with the results. The wood grain treatment is awesome. Unless we tell guests otherwise, they think the book shelves and doors around the fireplace are real wood. The wall with the arched window separates the dining room from the kitchen. With the texture and paint, it now looks like a stucco wall with stones forming the window. It achieved the Tuscany look we wanted. The two columns frame the front door entry. They had been bland white columns. Now they stand out with gold veining making them look like marble. They add a new dimension to the room.  She is a very talented artist and experienced in the work she does. We would recommend House of Faux to anyone wanting a special look in their home. <br />"

"This was the second basement rec room I have hired Sterling to work on. I installed the drywall (walls and ceiling) on the first one, but hired him to hang and finish the drywall (walls only this time) on this one as the entrance to the room required blending with the original drywall in the stairway. He was out to my house for a quote within a few days of being contacted. Start of work was to be the next week but was delayed a week due to a personal emergency of his. Then his helper had a car accident so I ended up helping to bring the drywall into my basement and to hang the drywall. I removed a large basement window to make bringing in the 12' sheets of drywall much easier and keep the cost down. I received a small credit for all my work. I did not first see his contract until he arrived to start work and then did not get a copy until I later asked for it. The contract requires the homeowner to provide a dumpster for scrap which I failed to notice when I signed it. He commented on the cost of having to haul away the scrap for me. My fault for not requesting and scrutinizing the contract before signing. Also, drywall work is very messy and dust propagates everywhere despite hanging up many plastic sheets, so be prepared for major cleanup of the entire house afterward. In the end it was well worth it. Sterling's workmanship is excellent. It looks like the builder did it and you cannot tell where he blended the old and new texture."
