"From the moment we called Steve, he was courteous and respectful. He was on time for our initial appointment. While all the other candidates looked at the job as too cumbersome with wallpaper removal prior to painting, Steve examined the application (1 layer of wallpaper and 1 layer of paint on plaster walls) and had no concerns with the overall job. He emailed the estimate the next day. The first day of work he went out of his way to come by and pick up a key prior to his start time, knowing that we had a very early morning schedule. I was amazed how fast they removed the wallpaper after just one day. The job took the two week time frame he originally estimated. He was accommodating and courteous when we inadvertently set up construction road block, even offering to help it along at an affordable price. He did a great job all around and we will definitely hire him again."

"Justin and his crew did an amazing job turning our 130 year old home into a spot where people stop to ask who did the work. I've recommended him to several friends who are planning to paint soon. He provided us with a contract that clearly listed everything we needed done and they did it all and a bit more. His bid was not the lowest but I knew the other bids included only painting and we needed carpentry done for the job to be a success long term. He was great about stopping by often, responding promptly to any question we had about our project. Carpenters from the company replaced rotten siding, rebuilt the front pillars in the house and added flashing to all the windows. His painting crew took special care with the blackberry and raspberry plants near the house, reattached storm windows (which was a challenge as a few had come apart when removed by a different company that had done the lead paint removal) while painting four beautiful colors. I would definitely hire this company again."

"Called and spoke with the proprietor who made it abundantly clear they did not really want to help solve our problem (needing wallpaper hung in new construction). After making disparaging the wallpaper brand I had chosen (Schumacher) she complained about the site location (Vancouver), the timeframe (1.5 month out) and the proposed design. Then proceeded to quote a hefty price to seal the deal. Additionally, it was quite frustrating communicating the design and dimensions as they did not have access to email or text and were not able to understand the design without many back and forths. Now, I know service providers are under no obligation to take all jobs offered, but there is really a much more polite and efficient way of handling this dilemma: just say "sorry, I am too busy". This saves us both time and face."
