They were totally upfront about their pricing method so no surprises but I am not comfortable with a minimum hourly pricing, cure or not, and paying by the hour no matter how long it takes or if they have to run to Home Depot. Don’t like the open ended relationship would like a firm fixed price. Could not find anyone else to do the job in time required so had no alternative. Good job but $300 for a 20 minute actual job at the end seemed pricey, but no other bids, but got the job done"

"Jon did a truly outstanding job with repairing some rotten wood on the exterior of our home. He was very thorough and meticulous in his work (which ended up being a little more complicated than we initially thought it would be). In addition, he made sure to clean up the work site thoroughly at the end of each day (very much appreciated so my dog didn’t have construction items to get in to). "Our deck, steps and railings needed to be re-stained. We already had stain leftover. We had Jose and his workers applied the stain. We thought it had waterproofing included, but didn’t, so they bought water sealant and said they hand apply it with rags-rather than just using a paint brushes or rollers. He said that the sealer soaks into the wood more throughly applying it by hand with rags. Which of course is more labor intensive! To this day, the stain hasn’t worn away! What an amazing job they did and I wish I took pictures of them working, but didn’t."
